Intent was the question behind Zimmerman's actions. Obviously, those prosecuting him believed he acted out on prejudices which led to the unfortunate climax.

Other than that, what was he tried for? Of course, the official platform of the case was self-defense, but anyone with sense knows it was about his motivations concerning his actions.

Yes, intent to kill vs. intent to defend his life.

Same, no matter what color either one of them were.

That was all. No matter what people keep wanting others to believe.

Don't fall into that trap so many others have. All they do anymore is keep repeating things like "obviously they were thinking this"..."obviously they meant that..." Thngs that are not documented and had no relevance to the trial and no bearing on the charges.

No, George Zimmerman was not obeying the law. Why do you think he was pulled over?

Yes, he has the right to follow more kids and shoot them if he gets scared. That's his right ass an American. We agree on that part.

It was definitely about whether or not he acted on racial intent (racially motivated act or self-defense), and I believe racial prejudices or sensitivities (whether to offend, condemn, defend, or express some sort of exasperation with racial overtones in these situations, in general) is what motivated most people to invest so much in this trial, despite it's relative meaningless. (to everyone except Black people, of which unwarranted stop and search procedures are common) The fact that racial issues were so frequently mentioned during this trial by both sides seems to justify that idea.

Read the charges.... and stop listening to the propaganda of the crybaby left.

Then argue "what it was about" when you're informed.

The charges, of course, have an official language to them. Charges are, also, tactfully worded or applied to assure the best chance of conviction. The charges generalize the obvious sentiment held by the prosecution. That Martin's death was provocated by racial prejudices. However, they sought to seek conviction on the lines of wrongful death.

Zimmerman will never feel safe in his world again.

No matter where he goes he will always be looking behind himself, or wondering what might lie ahead around the next corner.

And quite frankly, I don't feel the least bit sorry for the son of a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*).

First, there is no such thing as a "zimmermobile", second, apparently no one was out looking for accidents or to be on TV or to be a hero as you professed,so all that is left is that GZ was pulled over for speeding and you think this is, as Joe Biden says, " A Big F'n Deal"? LOL

They should wind up dead. Time to take the law back into our own hands. The ruling class wants to humiliate and demoralize us by having to put up with these animals making threats and getting slapped on the wrists, if avenged at all. "Proper legal channels" turns out to mean, "Go get them, gangstas!"

Please link me to the charges, and point out where there was any implication that this was racial...

or, since you couldn't possibly do so, point out where you insist they "obviously" meant it that way.

    zzzz...

Untrained, unregulated people taking the law into their own hands are gangsters.

Oprah will give her a car. Begetting gangstas can be a lucrative business. Win-win: gets rid of the brat, gets rich off the Hug a Thug cult.

idiotic. The FBI not only profiled Z, they crawled up his ass and through every piece of documentation they could find including his cell phone records, facebook posts and all the other social media Z was involved in and found NOTHING, or else they would have charged him accordingly. You are making up facts presenting them as if you know something. So, why were you not at the trial to offer up your many truths and honorable examples of his racism?

now, that's nice, real nice, since you only base that on some lame feelings.

Anyone who attacks some one else and is committing felony assault on them may very well 'get dead'. Works for me.

He has every right to protect himself. Let's not forget the amount of death threats he has had from criminals and thugs.

were you there? again, fueling a fire with supposition is like trying to fly a kite with out wind....................
Why so much sympathy for TM? He was a criminal, acting in a criminal manner, and paid the price for his arrogance. All of that was determined by prosecution and trial.
But oh, no.................your presence should have been required at the trial so you could execute an innocent man afterwards.

I think the Martins are thinking about their pockets, and the amount of money they could have sued Zimmerman and the county for if he was found guilty. As for the politicians like Sharpton and Jackson, well they're demagogues trying to keep their man in Washington by arousing the blacks, I mean let's face it, their lives haven't been any better since Obama became President. But then again, did the blacks have it any better when he was a Senator from Chicago? I don't think so, I mean there are still quite a few murders every weekend. Compare that with NYC and how the blacks fared with Guiliani after the liberals were kicked out. :confuse:

We have the death penalty for bar fights now... ? Actually, you don't even have to prove someone attacked you in Florida. Citizens can administer the death penalty just 'cause they "feel threatened." It's a bad law, it's going to get someone killed. Again.

All black men and children are dying in places like Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington DC, and you know very well the killers are black and not white? I think it's best to start putting the blame where it belongs, instead of looking for scapegoats, and that's on the demagogues like Jackson and Sharpton who manipulate blacks and tell them what they want to hear, rather than what's the best for them.
