There was a lot of image crafting in the case. Trayvon Martin got suspended from school, got into a lot of fights, and smoked marijuanna. Sad to say, if this was a white kid, he would have simply been "troubled". Because he's Black, it's proof of criminal activity and a "thug-like" nature. Considering that Martin's past is irrelevant anyway, nothing in Martin's past signifies a criminal nature. But the odd thing is that Zimmerman's past is totally ignored. He was an alleged wife abuser and his cousin filed molestation charges against him. He's been known to get into a confrontation with law enforcement officials, but dunces say he is a law-abiding citizen... I don't think there's any harm in examining a trial or case after the fact because many people do. Being tried in a jury does not equal justice. There's been plenty of sham court cases, like the Central Park Five. This trial seemed to be based on images...and only of Martin, at that. Martin was not a criminal. A bit deviant, yes, but not in a criminal way. Zimmerman, according to his past, is a monster. But it's relfective that his crimes or ignored and that he is actually championed whn put up against a young black kid who was shot. Cheers, a great man was freed. Whatever Martin was, Zimmerman was not better. Absolute disgust.
wot a hoot.................IT WAS HIS JOB. He was on the job as security. Trayvon was more than likely casing apartments looking for an easy score. (what a firestorm this statement will cause with the bleeding heart libs) if you would have done that job differently, you'd be patrolling the parking lot at a walmart instead of being entrusted with protecting lives and real property.
you conveniently forgot about the burglary tools and stolen jewelry.............he was a thief as well as a wanna be gangsta. How is it that you can get your panties in a wad over this when white cops do black murder in front of witnesses? Where is your self-righteous attitude when whites get killed by gangs of blacks? Why is it when a drugged up cop kills a 7 year old sleeping on a couch.............where is it? or is it that you reserve the right to determine what is murder and what's ok with you.
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2012/03/27/miami-dade-police-department-trayvon-martin-not-tied-to-jewelry-theft/ It's certainly fair to wonder where the jewelry came from. I, myself, find it to be more than likely stolen. But you don't know that. And twelve pieces of jewelry is a lot of jewelry. I'd have to assume if it was stolen, he likely got it from more than one person. If not, and he stole it from one person, than it's not so likely that he recieved all them from a female friend to hold. And we don't even know the value of the "jewelry" described. That would have helped. But...even if he did steal it, am I to assume a kid stole it with the help of his trusty screwdriver? Is this a cartoon? However, in no case was this ever reported to be stolen property, and at no point was this one screwdriver ever confirmed to be "burglary tool(s)". Even so, burglary and "attempted murder of a neighborhood watchmen" are two different things, yes. But...all of this was irrelevant and the court said as much. It did nothing to prove at that instant, Zimmerman acted on self-defense, but nothing brought up proved that he didn't act on self-defense. Innocent. However, from this story with many holes, people take from it what they brought into it in the first place...and somehow believe they have bragging rights after the fact. Because they are bragging....for some reason.
you are also aware of the "method" for dealing with such stolen items in this case. It was pretty much swept under the rug since he was in a school for troubled yoots ,,,,,,,,,,,,,hence no investigation was ever done about the stolen items. IN my world, if you get caught with something you cannot prove is yours, or verifiable possession. it is considered stolen. This is a case of preferential treatment given to a black yoot.
Come on, man, the same exact thing is what let's Zimmerman off the hook. You can't prove anything one way of the other, that's why you have to let him go. And if the current prison population is reflective of anything, it's certainly not Black people being let off the hook. Nor does the stop and frisk policies flagrant throughout most poor, Black areas of the country. For some, I'd say there's a fair amount of injustice done in the name of justice.
It was not his job. He was off duty, he was instructed by the police not to follow Trayvon, and his job description neither required nor encouraged him to do so. He was an overly ambitious guy who wanted to be a police officer and acted recklessly. Zimmerman's insistence on over reaching both his job and his capacity to manage the situation safely, instead of allowing law enforcement to do their job, resulted in a kid being killed. It was a tragic, poorly handled mess and not one worth hooting about.
FALSE! A few months AFTER the date of your link (March 2012), it was discovered that there had been a deliberate COVERUP regarding the stolen jewelry, which WAS IDENTIFIED to be a match to the stuff in Trayvon Martin's backpack. A number of employees is the M-DSPD testified that they had been coerced to cover up the match-up of the jewelry which was listed as stolen in the Miami Dade PD Police report, all to keep crime statistics of young, Black males down. Click the May 2013 expose' article for details, complete with the official testimonies, which led to the firing of M-DSPD Chief Hurley. http://theconservativetreehouse.com...ckpack-with-stolen-jewelry-and-burglary-tool/
Your link is really weird because I have never heard of any official revelation like this, so I looked for anything else... and when I looked, all of the other links pointed me back, directly, to this article from the Conservative Tree House. Literally, I think the first six links on Google all linked back to this article. Not to say it's not true, but I'm sure this information would have ben brought up on the News, or at least the court itself. No way it wouldn't have. The Conservative Treehouse just feels way to suspicious a source. So, anyone have any official word on this?
still with the "I was there and saw it all" routine. And the one I really like is "He was told NOT to pursue." That was not an order. That was admitted in the trial. so get the (*)(*)(*)(*) over it. Dude, you know the cops are not about crime prevention, don't you? Personal defense is up to the individual. Relying upon the cops to stop a crime is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing waste of time. They only show up once the crime has been committed. But the one I like the most is, "IF it was to have been me, I would have let him beat me to death. That'll show those rotten-assed conservative". So, why are you showing your righteous indignation about how cops murder 7 year old..white cops and a 7 year old black girl sleeping on a couch.
If I kept count on how many times I've gotten a response saying "I don't accept the source", the number would probably be in the thousands. If you click in the links in the Sundance article (those of the M-DSPD staffers' testimonies) you won't be worried about the source anymore. And M-DSPD Chief Hurley didn't get fired for nothing. As for what "would have been brought up on the News", there's stories a lot bigger and badder than this, and they were hushed up. Nothing new about that. How about the Cordell Jude/Daniel Adkins shooting ? Heard much about that on TV lately ? I never have. http://beforeitsnews.com/scandals/2...-the-reverse-trayvon-martin-case-2431666.html
The police are trained to put handcuffs on themselves. They mostly don't want to get involved when regulations define their own self-defense as "police brutality."
Biafra, Uganda, Rwanda and other post-racial paradises proved what this is all about. How much longer do we have to put up with the established Kumbaya religion?
I might add, his parents are going to stand to make a (*)(*)(*)(*)wad full of money on the movie rights, of which Trayvon will get none
"...in a blog, you can write anything you want." Taxcutter says: NBC News, CBS News, and MSNBC broadcast anything they want. Why should a blog be treated differently? Blogs are merely competing sources of information.
you and I know that, but it'll be a big hit with the neo-facists libs....then they can point their fingers, thump their chests and wail at the White-American
