I hope my name reflects that I'm a simple thinker. I'm no one special but I seem to always have the right answers :fishing:

Many people have asked me how I came to be named Sparquelito.
    It is not a nickname.
It was actually given to me at birth, and then formalized at my baptism.

My papa, Gepeto de' Basquo, thought that it had a kind of ring to it.
He even named one of the goats he tended 'Sparquelito', just to see if the other goats would laugh or anything.
    I guess they didn't.

My mama Maria admonished him not to name me so.
"Please Gepeto, donna name hima after dot goat. He's a gonna get hissa ass beat atta school!"

A more stubborn and willful goat-herder never drew a breath though than my papa, and so Sparquelito was how I was
    christened.

I am proud to be Sparquelito de' Basquo, bohemian goat-boy and gadfly.
The name suits my lifestyle as a lay-about, wine-taster, raconteur, and all around sporty fellow.

Although, I could be convinced to change it to Sally Sluttyheadcheerleader.
    I don't know.
I will have to sleep on that one.

Look at the letter above A on your keyboard.

Then think of the role on Star Trek The Next Generation that John de Lancie played and what his charterer was capable of.....then multiply that times 1000 and you will get an idea of what people expect of me.

I have a WIP where Russia has kept Alaska and is becoming rich off the gold there, but England want's to push them out since they can communicate with Alaska by sea more easily than the Russians by land. So the Russians are trying to extend the Trans-Siberian railway and build a bridge across the Bering Strait (Such was actually proposed, even back then.) The Ulyanov Brothers are the major Engineering Company. Alexander Ulyanov was Lenin's brother, in OTL he was executed by the Tsarists.

Pretty simple: I'm a Fleming and I'm Conservative (in the traditional Edmund Burke-sense).

I always got a kick out of that rapper's name 'Coolio'. When I started posting on CourtTV message board, I used the name 'Coolia'. Thought I'd resurrect it to post here.

My online name is my real name. The idea behind it is that when I go to post, and my real name is attached to it, it truly makes me stop to consider what I am writing, because it is a reflection of the real me. By being so open, it cultivates the highest level of personal responsibility, and that has helped me to become more thorough and sincere about what I write.

The first time I was posting on a forum, in 2002, I was in a hurry. So I used my initials, and my childhood phone number as the password. Both have stuck.

Since I believe most everything we do in life stems from some sort of politics, and with my concern for individual freedom and
a moral value system, it becomes quite obvious that I'll do all that's needed to fight against modern day anti American and anti
Christian liberalism. Thus the 'LIBHATER' name, one in which I've adopted as my middle name in real life. BTW, I do have a
gun permit just in case there is some leftist nut out there that doesn't quite understand the term individual 'freedom' or our 2nd
Amendment rights, which in reality would be every liberal.

I started out as a conservative democrat on politicsforum.org, a place full of fascists and communists raging against neo-liberalism. I called myself "Blue Puppy" which was a pun on the term Blue Dog. After wading through their terrible and usually violent ideologies for long enough, I started to think that people to the left of me were secretly believing the stuff that these fascists and communists would say and decided to drop the democrat part, at which point they started calling me racist, pro-rape and other such nonsense. So I changed my forum name. I quit that forum not too long afterwards.

Rainbow Crow comes from a Lenape Indian myth. I'm 1/64 Cherokee or something which puts me in the Elizabeth Warren crowd, it's physically impossible for me to be racist.

It's Lenin's brother, and the main character in my WIP Beringeria, about AH Russians building a bridge over the Bering Strait, which was actually first proposed in the latter 19th century.

    AlpinLuke

Alpin is a contraction of "Alpine" [meaning of the Alps, since I live on a lake in this mountain chain].

Luke has got a double origin:

    - Luke SkyWalker from Star Wars
    - my real Italian name ... Luca.

So that AlpinLuke means "Luca from the Alps".

As a teen in the early 1980s, I used to play video games on a gamebox called Intellivision. On the baseball game, there seemed to be arbitrary results that pissed one player or the other off. A friend and I blamed it on a "man" or entity in the gamebox, named Virgil
