I grew up and have lived in Texas off and on for a long time; I've never had a gun pulled on me here, or have even been in range to hear a gunshot outside of a shooting range or on a hunting trip, yet I have had one pulled on me in NYC, LA, SF, over the years. I've have had one pulled on me in Italy and France, two of the countries on that chart. I would say most places in the U.S. are as safe or safer than anywhere in Europe re gun crimes. Guess which communities have the most violent crime and gun deaths in the U.S.? ...

He wants to ban all semi-automatic weapons from civilian use. He also advocates for the banning of all firearms capable of carrying more than six rounds.

If he denies this, I will produce quotes directly from the horse's mouth.

I believe that he has realized how extremist his views are, even amongst his usual allies and is therefore leery of voicing any specifics.

Every criminal with a gun is just a law abiding citizen with a gun that got caught. We just haven't caught the rest of them misusing their weapons yet.

Here's a crazy idea, instead of quitting over and over and over, you could answer our questions.

 

The vast majority of gun owners in the USA never commit crimes, and the vast majority of guns used to commit crimes in the USA are owned illegally.

So its a very small percentage of our society, who own guns illegally, that are responsible for gun crimes.
