As opposed to people who watch MSNBC or CNN where most of the news is left on the cutting room floor for fear of offending Obama. By the way leftist assumptions for the lose..

What SHOULD be pointed out is the fact that the church was in a "gun free zone", clearly one of the most idiotic concepts that the left has ever come up with! And so the law-abiding people follow the law and don't carry a gun, and those naughty murderers (who don't worry about breaking ANOTHER law when they have mass murder on their minds), search to find one of those zones to zero in on, where they know it will be like shooting fish in a barrel!

And people wonder why I consider liberals to be morons!!!

The argument against that is like the argument against carry, it will become the OK Corral, which of course never materialized. Everyone does not need to be armed but the only alternative is either hire armed guards (which most churches may not be able to afford) or allow a select number to carry and sit in strategic locations, and it should be up to the church if they do that or not but in his church, it isn't even a possibility because of the law.

They also say you couldn't shoot or you will hit the parishioners. Another silly argument. Shooting starts and everyone hits the floor except the shooter. That gives a clear shot to someone else.

If you can prove that Fox is, or has defended the actions of this shooter, I'll come to wherever you are and kiss your a$$ in the public square. You speak like someone that is simply filled with hate for anyone not like yourself, or who believes something different than you. You really need to stop caring so much about things you cannot changing, especially with the hatred and contempt that you exhibit.

A dem rep from SC, Todd Rutherford, blames the shooting on FOX news. FOX did report this.

They have never defended the shooter and there is no evidence that they will.

that's how Faux does it - I'm surprised certain right wingers haven't accused him of being a liberal like they have with every other mass murderer - but it's likely to follow, soon

Steve Doocy of "Fox & Friends" tried to spin it as a "war on Christians"....

problem is.....Dylann Roof confessed last night and said he did it to "start a race war."

Now, I'm sure Doocy or some other racist apologist will claim "Roof is lying....I KNOW why he really did it...it's because he's an atheist liberal who hates conservative Christians!"

The lies from Fox won't just stop because reality and facts get in the way.

Fox did not JUST call it a war or attack on christians.

People keep misrepresenting what fox news reported.

When the story first broke the suspect was still at large and little was known about the case.

Fox like many people speculated about the possible motives behind the crime to include racism and a possible attack on people of faith.

This was reasonable speculation at the time when nothing of any substance was known about the shooter or his motives.

You are lying outright to say fox lied and that they tried to spin it.

Once again many people on fox speculated about the motives BEFORE the suspect was apprehended.

They did not exclusively say it was a crime against christians or people of faith they instead speculated that this may have been the motive AMONG OTHER MOTIVES,

Thy also speculated about racism and drug abuse and any other possible motives.

This was quite reasonable at the time when nothing factual was known about the shooter.

If you don't like Fox News, change the channel. Their coverage is no less biased than the lib/prog stations are.

ANYTHING but admit it was racially motivated.

    - - - Updated - - -

I love how some of the Right say "Fox is fair and balanced and unbiased."

and then other Rightwingers come on and say "Fox is biased, but who cares?"

At the time in question before the suspect was apprehended they could NOT accurately admit it was racial motivated because the motive was UNKNOWN.

That is the point you keep willfully ignoring in order to further your lie.

They speculated about many possible motives including an attack on people of faith and a racially motivated attack.

Once again this was reasonable at the time.

Keep ignoring facts to further your dishonest spin

And of course, the reality is that a gunman with the intention of mass murder would and SHOULD worry that someone in the audience he's planning to shoot MAY also have a gun, and will have the ability to stop him in his tracks immediately! That possible outcome alone will make him think twice about his plan! The "Gun Free Zone" sign that liberals think would help might as well say, "All Here Are Unarmed Sheep! Mass Murderers Are Both Safe And Welcome!"

Baloney, the NRA will say if that if the minister and members of the prayer group were packin' in church, this wouldn't have happened.

Fox News is still establishment controlled, they just try and act conservative by fighting over these events to try and keep the false left/right paradigm but MSNBC does the opposite by blaming white people for everything.

The left think Fox News is a propaganda outlet... yes it is and so are all the other propaganda channels including the leftist ones like MSNBC saying the government owns your children.

Fox is more extreme in terms of propaganda than any other major news outlet, but I would agree that MSNBC is kind of propaganda-ish as well. To me, "propaganda" means more than just having an editorial lean though. To be propaganda, a news outlets needs to be actually lying about facts to serve an ideological agenda. Fox obviously does that, and gets busted red-handed for doing it, every day many times. MSNBC gets busted doing that too, but much less frequently. A closer equivalent to Fox on the left would maybe be Michael Moore.

But, most news outlets- liberal and conservative ones- don't do that at all. For example, the NYT and the WSJ are both equally partisan- the NYT is quite liberal and the WSJ is quite conservative. But, both are extremely careful to get the facts right, so I wouldn't consider either to be propaganda at all.

She didn't say "the government owns your children" lol. She said kids aren't the private property of their parents, they belong to the whole community. That may be a kind of flakey way to describe it I guess, but there certainly isn't anything offensive about that. Of course kids aren't private property. The way parents treat their kids are subject to all kinds of restrictions that don't apply to the way they treat property. Society has an obvious interest in protecting kids from abusive parents, ensuring that kids get educations, etc. Right? I mean, you agree with all that, don't you?

I haven't watched FNC since this happened, but I wonder why liberals feel FNC would have to spin it. For what purpose?

I believe Fox News is more extreme when it comes to foreign policy but MSNBC would be more extreme when it comes to their views on society, like saying children are basically property of the state but I do get what you mean some of the people on it are disillusion like that woman saying 'bomb them, bomb them again and again'.

With that attitude of the state having the authority over parents is dangerous and damaging as more and more stories come out everyday of children being taken away from their parents for playing out in the street.
