Why do you keep mindlessly repeating the same junk over and over ??? self driving cars will simply cause more accidents, computers cannot think yet, they can only respond, not all situations are the same, no program is sophisticated enough yet.
Spoken like a Hillary supporter, she is as much like Trump as a Capitalist, she just pretends not to be.
I admit that if I was American I am 95% certain that I would vote for The Donald but...... I should do a list of things that Hillary could do and/ or say.... that would probably induce me to switch my vote at the last minute...... like I did here in Central - Nova in 2008 when I decided at the last minute to cast my ballot for Green Party Leader Ms. Elizabeth May. http://www.politicalforum.com/canad...008-campaign-my-apology-ms-elizabeth-may.html Ignorance shown in my 2008 campaign, my apology to Ms. Elizabeth May! Back in 2008 when I campaigned for the office of municipal councilor my ignorance regarding the importance of reducing atmospheric carbon is out there for all to see! I am wondering if the information regarding the increasing acidity of the oceans can alter how we view the importance of altering our economy? http://www.bankingsystemsflaws.blogspot.ca/
the poor aren't living in poverty they have free internet and food stamps, if you want to see real poverty look at the poor in mexico or other third world nations. peasants in America should be thankful that those who are productive give them what free stuff they have, and they don't have to live like others before them under communism or monarchies. those who are educated took personal responsibility and are entitled to their noble lives, they don't rely on low skilled jobs that will be automated and replaced by robots.
is it wrong to simply Tax the wealthiest into Heaven, instead of letting them "get punished out of it" due to seeking the profit of lucre over a moral of "goodwill toward men".
the welfare plantation by democrats is just as immoral as the let them starve approach by republicans. tariffs by Donald Trump will be a solution to automation, it will punish the richest who create living wage jobs everywhere else but America for cheap labor.
No, it isn't. The approach of the left is, "manna" from the public sector if we cannot rely on any god.
We're not talking about communism or a monarchy when we address America but instead we're talking about working Americans that are entitled to earn a living from their labor. The workers of America generate roughly $16 trillion in income annually and it requires less that 1/4th of the income they produce to ensure that no person working in America lives in poverty. The self-righteous that use disparaging terms like "low skilled" need to clarify who appointed them to the position of "god" where they have the power to judge others. Every worker for every enterprise is vital to the success of the enterprise. If their labor wasn't vital then they wouldn't have a job to begin with. Being vital to the success of the enterprise, regardless of what tasks the worker performs, warrants a living wage from the employer. If the employer can't afford to pay the worker a living wage then the employer should do the work themselves. If you own a company and can't afford to pay the janitor a living wage to mop the floors then get out from behind your desk, get off of your high horse, and get your ass out there and mop your own damned floors. If you believe your time is worth too much to mop the floors then pay the janitor a living wage because they're freeing up your time so you can do your job in ensuring the success of the enterprise. Of course we're not discussing those that have expended additional effort and are worth more than just a "living wage" but as noted even after we pay a "living wage" to everyone there's still about $12 trillion left over to fund higher incomes as well as providing ample profit to the owners of enterprise. Don't even attempt to claim that $12 trillion isn't enough to go around.
Mindless?....I post that link and speak of automation/its side-effects/potential solutions because apparently many people are still unaware. And speaking of which... ...Really?...What evidence do you have of such supposed lingering deficiencies? The following study appears to be in direct opposition to your claims: Study Says Self-driving Cars are Safer than Humans -Meta
And if someone is average with no special technical talents what kind of jobs are they to get? This is the real world the rich will never share the wealth and profits unless forced to and sadly poor people refuse to vote in their best interests. But in time we could have fancy jobs for the better citizens with the right aptitudes, the brilliant minds will still have work and the common people will get by and being the norm they will be happy and not cause problems with some work to be productive even if disabled you would get some work doing something a couple hours a week.
It doesn't matter what they're skills are because the employer requires those skills and has an obligation under natural law, at the bare minimum, to provide for the minimum-mandatory requirements (expenditures) of the person. If the employer won't supply the necessary compensation for the labor of the person then the employer has no right to take the labor from the person. To do so is theft under natural law. Every person, under the Natural Right of Property, has a Right to their "support and comfort" based upon their labor. It is the employers obligation to ensure that "support and comfort" for their employees.
There are some that simply refuse to be informed when it comes to science and technology. I'm not sure why that is but they seem to lean to the "right" in their thinking. Instead of facts they live in a world of denial when it comes to science and technology.
construction jobs to build roads and bridges are low skilled labor intensive work for most, the poor need to be reeducated in cloud computing or something technological if they want any future in the newly automated economy. tariffs are another solution to automation because it gives the poor dignity, so they don't have to be janitors who beg for living wages when their jobs are taken by robots. they will have good jobs building air conditioners that the rich sent away for profits. If increased levels of automation ever leads to mass unemployment and the subsequent collapse of things like food stamps and other social services due to insufficient funding, we wont have to look at Mexico for 'real' poverty,...because it'll exist for all to see just outside our window. Sure, folks should be happy that America is not a communist nation or a monarchy, and they should be thankful for the founders who made that happen, but surely you aren't suggesting that they should also be content with the way things are, even as they are barely able to support themselves. Why settle for an obviously imperfect system, when simple changes to that system could be made which would make it all so much better? Note: low skill and high skill jobs alike can and will be automated. Besides, it is beyond silly to condemn someone simply based on what job they choose,...especially when your expecting them to also be a fortune teller. -Meta
the productive won't let anyone starve, but given enough not to be a nuisance to society and nothing more. if discontented with the free stuff provided at the expense of the productive, they can work like others to compete and better themselves. the high and low skilled have a duty to follow market demand with continuing education and retraining in order to remain competitive, their choices must be relevant to market needs if they don't want to depend on handouts to pay the bills. in the foreseeable future a surgeon or lawyers job will not be automated, cloud computing, cyber security, and many other fields of technology will need someone.
