If you expect NATO to protect you, shouldn't you at least pay the American troops stationed in Italy. We're you protected by the Triple Alliance before 1914. boy I would like to take that bet, there is a valid train of thought that predicts the exact opposite actually. The polls, for what they are worth, and to a liberal they have always seemed the absolute, so look at them, Hillary is slipping at a rapid pace. Especially in the swing states. people just don't trust her. And Trumps success as I predict it will have little to do with what he represents, and more to do with what he doesn't.
What bothers me is the use of the word entitlements. If you paid $30000 to social security in 47 years you're entitled to $30000. After that it's a gift. If you lost your job or were born poor you're not entitled to anything above those born rich or keeping a job. Sold9iers and government workers are entitled to a pension only because they signed a contract. When we call these things by the right words maybe people will stop claiming they deserve these gifts.
When we stop making things up we can have a legitimate conversation is more like it. Who in this great country can work 47 years and only pay 30000 into social security? Pretty much everyone is going to agree that we should use the right names for things, but people don't agree on what the right names are. For instance, most pro-choicers would regard calling abortion "killing babies" as inaccurate.

I do understand that a person who calls himself pro-life but supports the death penalty, wars, eating meat and swatting flies is misusing the term a bit too.' No matter which candidate wins, there will be violence. We have nearly half of the country that doesn't respect democracy, as well as thinks that law enforcement is racist for enforcing the law. I think if Trump wins, and actually goes through with his plans on deportation of criminal aliens, he's going to have to declare a state of emergency, at least. I think if the scag wins, she'll probably get impeached right when she's worn in, and Timmy Kaine will be forced to toe the line. He won't have the luxury of ignoring our laws like his predecessor.
