Despite West Europeans being closer to Africans than they are to E Asians or E Europeans, they still have their very own special history and foreign policy of conquering and bringing complete destruction upon peoples. A history that is still ongoing with the global foreign policy today.

Their history is unmatched by anything anyone's ever done, Africans included.

Anyway, gotta be careful with comparing African violence with E Asians and E Europeans violence, especially since the most brutal people in history were E Asian and E European. Also, some of the most atrocious things to occur in history included instances involving E Asians and E Europeans.

Humans are far more violent than chimps and large cats. I can't for the life of me recall a time when chimps or large Felidae committed complete genocide and launched wars on anything so no they aren't more violent than humans.

 

Yes, I agree in terms of what you're discussing, humans are more violent. Obviously, other animals are incapable of our level of violence. But that's a fallacious argument because you won't feel safer in a lion enclosure than the public area with those violent humans.

 

While this is true, it does not negate the point I made in my first post, which was basically that the ability to exercise force effectively and to be cunning is more of a factor in why we see the world we do today than race is. Many empires, if not all were forged through violence and deception.

 

Well, I didn't say that, Western Europeans are still closer to Eastern Europeans, and East Asians than to Africans, but they're the 2nd closest people to Africans outside of Arabs.

As for historical violence, Western Europeans are definitely more violent than Eastern Europeans, or East Asians.

Western European history includes WW1, WW2, the Belgian Congo Genocide, the Holocaust, the British Famine genocides of India, the British genocides of Ireland, the Napoleonic wars, the 30 year war, the Native American genocides, the Atlantic Slave Trade, the Scramble for Africa, etc. etc.

The only thing that rivals this from Eastern Europe is the Soviet era, which neither Lenin, nor Stalin were true Eastern Europeans.

Stalin was Georgian, who Georgians are more like Near-Easterners, and Lenin was Jewish, Kalmyk, Swedish, Volga German, and Chuvash.
(Which means Lenin was a mish mash of Semite, Asiatic, and Western European)

The NKVD during the height of it's terror was majority Jewish, and also founded by a Jew named Genrikh Yagoda.

As for Asians they too have been more violent than Eastern Europeans, with the likes of Genghiz Khan, Mao, Hirohito, etc. even so that doesn't add up to what Western Europeans have done.

Only one country in Eastern Europe has a higher murder rate than Argentina, and that's Russia.

As for poverty, of course, Eastern Europe was victimized by 2 World wars mostly fought on their soil, before being chucked to the Soviet Union which all kept the economy down.

Argentina is not in Western Europe.

 

Poland's probably the most purely Eastern European, of Eastern Europe, judging by R1a haplogroup frequencies.

Murder, and Alcoholism, are generally lower in Poland, than in Western Europe, despite Poland having lower incomes.

As I mentioned Argentina is mostly made up of people of South / Western European heritage, and their murder rate is higher than all of Eastern Europe, except Russia.

Besides, the murder rate of Eastern Europe has gone down a lot since the 1990's, as incomes have gone up.

I suspect much of Eastern Europe naturally has a lower murder rate than Western Europe.

Poland, Slovenia, and Czech Republic despite having lower incomes than Germany, and Britain, already have lower murder rates than Germany, or Britain.

So, absolutely Eastern Europeans are less violent.
