First I would suggest you actually learn what "Democracy" means and then rephrase the question! A good start would be, Democracy's Road to Tyranny by Dr. Kuehnelt-Leddihn, a European scholar, linguist, world traveler, and lecturer.
Still a slave mentality, mob rule, loss of freedom. The only thing they vote for is to be in the majority so they can dominate the minority.
Leader, just where are we going that we need a leader? And even worse, you actually consider a professional liar, politician, a leader? What morals do you operate under?
While governments are always evil, this lady intrigues me: "Marine Le Pen, the face and leader of the French far-right Front National party, believes France should exit the European Union, drop the euro, and fight radical Islam, and not necessarily in that order." How could you not love her? If the EU parliament hates her, she must be great.
We need leaders...even people like you need 'em. Otherwise we end up like "The Occupy movement"...which was sorta like a bowel movement.
Actually a vote is having nothing to say. So much so one chooses an agent (called representative) to not necessarily speak for them but to speak in their stead. What an ignorant concept!!! All equally responsible, not likely. How can one that does not participate in the slave game of choosing a master have any responsibility? The rest of the statement is just pure delusion. What a delusional statement. It is just an attempt to deflect responsibility from where it belongs, to the idiots that voted for them. Not that the losers are that must less responsible. And America did not choose anyone, just the idiots that buy into the program of slavery by choice. Another delusion, thinking that the red master is any different than the blue master. A delusion of freedom while actively choosing which new master will rule when both have been hand chosen, not by any voters.
Governments are not always evil...but they are often supposed to be so by people who want licence instead of the governance necessary for a functioning society. It figures you would like people like Le Pen.
Leaders, you're either delusional or enjoy being a slave. People like me don't need leaders, none at all. We are responsible for our own path through life not a slave to the whims of others. Occupy movement like all other movements are similar to bowel movements, same results. But even that is a step above having a professional liar seen as some kind of "leader". Leader is sort of like passing gas before taking a dump. Relief is when the air has cleared and the results flushed where it belongs.
Sounds as though you may need more than a leader! Anyway...in order for civilization to survive...leaders are needed. The rugged individuals are seldom rugged...and hardly ever lone wolves...the bleating gives them away. In any case, I would trust a supposed "professional liar" more than a professional complainer.
Every Nation needs a leader. I agree most politicians are exactly what you list. I call our president a leader, because that is what he is.... Even if I didn't vote for him. It's not my morals that need to be worried about. I'm flexible anyway that way. It's also what America is.
This country is a partnership. Same as if you and another decided to buy lunch together. Your choice not to vote is still a choice, you are responsible for what that choice puts on your table and the bill associated with getting it there. You don't want to be responsible for lunch, you want out of the club? Unlike slaves, you have that choice. There's the door. You want to be an American, start living up to the responsibility you are choosing to accept.
That is a statement that you can't back up, ever. All governments are evil and the longer they exist, the more evil they become. Perhaps you should study history before making ridiculous statement with no basis in reality. And then to become totally ludicrous, how is license somehow different than government? And what society actually functions as other than some subjective term for slavery? If everything I am seeing about this woman and her father is true, I could come to love them. But by your statement I take it you are all for absolute tyrants and still crying in your beer over Hitlerly losing, imagine a loser losing.
Another delusional comment with little understanding of it's meaning. Civilization, you mean the collection of little sheep, the ones that when the fleecing is done becomes a great lamb meal. I like eating lamb but all those sheeple are just too tough for anything other than a stew, most come precooked. Of course you like professional liars, that is obvious from your posts.
But just who says anyone needs a nation, those desiring to be a "leader"? It is but the ignorant, those that ignore what is available to be known, that believe they are going somewhere they need to be led. Sort of like when I walk a dog, put him on a lead so I can lead him. Is that what you are referring to? Have to because that is what those self determined "leaders" think of you!!! King Donald a leader, yeah he leads all the little clowns in his own little circus. Just a larger version of his prior reality shows. Flexible, better stated as moral relativism. It is not what America "is", it is what most Americans think it has become, still an oxymoron. There are but a little over 4400 words in the constitution and not one of them is democracy. But as it has become, Farewell to America.
I personally think it's a cross between people feeling their vote won't matter, much like my conservative vote in a heavily liberal state, yet I vote no matter what. California's conservatives probably feel the same, as do New York's and Illinois'. Others are just lazy or figure it doesn't matter to them who is in charge or what happens.
IMO, a genuine dislike of the politicians and how they've gamed the system to themselves and the elite in our country.
I'm sad to say, the prospect of nations dissolving, & there being no centralized national government, especially in the 1st. World, is a pipe dream, usually for the dim witted, or anarchists. That is, unless ET pops in for a visit.
