Firing the "Chief Investigator" when it is YOU who is being investigated.

Really, folks? I mean, really? Are we down to that level?​

At what point do Trump supporters simply admit that this guy is rogue and needs to be impeached?

And, speaking of impeachable offenses - does this firing qualify as such an offense? It is not the firing that should disturb everyone. It is the context in which the FBI Director was fired. The context had changed. Obama's administration was not under FBI investigation. Trump's campaign however, was under such investigation for its potential role in Russia's tampering with a US election.

When the "investigated" fires the "investigator" there can be no question as to the matter of Cover Up. Clearly, this is part of a broader cover up scheme. How much longer can Trump supporters hold on?

When do Trump supporters simply say: Now, that Mr. President is a line that I am not willing to cross under any circumstances.

When will Hillary supporters admit they made a bad mistake by nominating someone like her who had a lot of baggage?

After the Shillary lost, leftist called for the firing of Comey. Because according to their own delusions, Comey was one of the major reasons the hag lost. Now you're crying into your pillows after Trump fired Comey, which is his right, since the FBI director serves at the pleasure of the president.

The hag never should've been nominated, it takes a lot to lose to someone like Donald Trump and by gosh she pulled it off.

Context. The OP accurately places context. Liberals, were balling into a puddle of tears when Comey, was not fired - but that firing would have been initiated by someone who was NOT under FBI Investigation. The Trump Campaign, became the Trump Administration before that same FBI Director was unceremoniously fired and the firing itself took place by the exact same individual (and his administration) who was the very target of the investigation.

Unreal. How can anyone botch the context here. The context had changed dramatically before Comey, was fired and he was fired by the central focus of the investigation itself.

What else would qualify as an Impeachable Offense? You cannot terminate the Lead Investigator when YOU are the target of the Investigation. That's just plain ole common horse sense that any 12 year old would fully comprehend. You can't go around doing stuff like that, because it makes you look as if you are fully engaged in a Cover Up. Full Stop.

There is no logical or rational explanation for this other than Fully Blown Cover Up. This is worse than Watergate. This has now become FAR worse than Watergate could have ever hoped to be. This is something brand new. We've never seen anything this rogue before sitting in the White House in modern times.

Comey, asks for more "resources." Trump's response: "YOUR FIRED! Get the **** outta here. What do mean, more "resources?" More "resources" for what? So, you can fry my ass with your little investigation into my Russian money connections funding the offshore corporations that my tax returns would most certainly uncover? Hell no! You can bet that is pretty much as close to a direct behind the scenes quote from Trump, as you are going to get.

 

I know facts don't ever get considered in these little tirades. but did it ever occur to you that the director of the FBI isn't actually an investigative role? Because it isn't. Mr Comey is an executive. He's a now fired executive who actively worked to undermine his boss. Any ongoing investigations within the FBI won't be suspended because Comey is no longer there. So, getting all worked up seems pretty baseless, and useless. Perhaps you should consider this before posting such a flamebait thread.

HILLARY was nominated because she was a very good candidate with an exceptional platform, in my opinion.
And in my opinion, the reason HILLARY lost is because trump colluded with a foreign government--in other words he had "help"---every single day moves us closer to believe that opinion----
