and it ain't significantly Asian either. Asians commit crime at a fraction of the white rate, Leaving the usual suspects. Who as it turns out, are WAY Under stopped-and-frisked relative to their crime rates. Yes, Yes, we know it's because of 'persecution' by those Park Avenue types. But apparently they have not much effect on other poor minorities who have low crime rates. Unlike virtually all other cities, NYC breaks Hispanic from 'white' so we can see the whole picture in addition to just 'Black.' 89% of all Crime in NYC Nonwhite March 4, 2016 - by A.N. Wyatte 89% of all Crime in NYC Nonwhite - The New Observer Nonwhites commit 89% of all crime in New York City, including 97.7% of all shootings, 96% of all robberies, 94.2% of all murders, 94.9% of all Juvenile Felony and Misdemeanor crimes, and 90.6% of all rapes. These figures are contained in the New York City Police Department’s latest “Crime and Enforcement Activity in New York City” report, which covers the dates January 1 to December 31, 2015. It can be found on the New York Government website here (PDF). http://www1.nyc.gov/site/nypd/stats/reports-analysis/crime-enf.page The report is almost Unique in present-day America because it Openly presents statistics on race and crime compiled from the New York City Police Department’s records management system—statistics that are most often Suppressed by other police departments. In addition, the NYPD breaks down the racial categories correctly, listing “Hispanic” separately instead of grouping it together with “white,” which is what most of the US government does (thereby artificially inflating the “white” crime levels)........... We don't have a Gun or Crime Problem, we have a Minority Problem. +
Color of Crime update/summary excerpts The Color of Crime Crime rates There are dramatic race differences in crime rates. Asians have the Lowest rates, followed by whites, and then Hispanics. Blacks have notably high crime rates. This pattern holds true for virtually all crime categories and for virtually all age groups. In 2013, a Black was Six times more likely than a non-black to commit murder, and 12 times more likely to murder someone of another race than to be murdered by someone of another race. ...... Urban centers In 2014 in New York City, a black was 31 times more likely than a white to be arrested for Murder, and a Hispanic was 12.4 times more likely. For the crime of “shooting”— defined as firing a bullet that hits someone —a Black was 98.4 times more likely than a white to be arrested, and a Hispanic was 23.6 times more likely. If New York City were All white, the murder rate would drop by 91%, the robbery rate by 81%, and the shootings rate by 97%. In an All-white Chicago, murder would decline 90%, rape by 81%, and robbery by 90%.+
Black Lives Matter’s Supporters Have to Grapple With This Chart Black Lives Matter's Supporters Have to Grapple With This Chart by DAVID FRENCH September 28, 2016 One of the most frustrating aspects of our so-called “national dialog” on race is the presumption that disparate impact equals racism. In other words, if any negative action falls disproportionately on people of color, then that difference itself is evidence of racial bias. Take the police shooting debate. Though police kill far more whites, they do use deadly force on a higher proportion of African-Americans. All other things being equal, wouldn’t that be evidence of racism? But all other things aren’t equal — violent crime rates simply aren’t proportionate. Look at this Guardian chart of murder rates, taken from the most current FBI crime statistics: In other words, black men were roughly “Nine times more likely” to be murdered than white men, and the overwhelming majority of those murders were committed by other black men. Black men were far more likely to murder white victims than vice versa. That’s a horrifying racial disparity.... +
Same in Philly of course: MAYOR CHANGES TUNE ON BLACK-VIOLENCE DISCUSSION Rebukes author for citing crime problems after calling for conversation http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/mayor-changes-tune-on-black-violence-discussion/#4oki5Jdfod7dsCjL.99 ....But what are the actual circumstances of crime in Philadelphia? Over the last two decades, the city has lost 32% of its white population, or 263,254 people. During that time, crime was a major concern. In the late 1990s, blacks were 43% of Philadelphia’s population and 76% of the alleged murderers (see chart below). Whites were 52% of the population but just 5% of alleged murderers. [Chart] Today, blacks are 42% of Philadelphia’s population and 83% of known murder offenders. Whites are now 37% of the population and 4% of known murder offenders. The chart comes from a report titled “Murder Is No Mystery: An Analysis of Philadelphia Homicide, 1996-1999,” which was released in 2001 and provocatively asked: If this went on in your own neighborhood, would you stay? Would you go out at night? Would you consider leaving the neighborhood, or even the city, if you could? Of course you would. A quarter of a million whites did indeed leave. As for race and crime in Philadelphia, most murders in the city were Intraracial, black-on-black crimes. Of Black murder victims, 95% were killed by other Blacks. However, the report pointed to a major, noteworthy Exception: “Caucasians and Asian Americans, on the other hand, were both more likely to be Murdered by an individual of another Race.” +
Everyone has known this for years, but the government has tried to obfuscate the populace by combining whites and hispanics so that the numbers wouldn't be so different from blacks. But when you look at non-hispanic whites compared to blacks, there's no question about the stark difference in crime rates. Solution: the police need to crack down hard on black neighborhoods, open-fire against rioters and looters, arrest first and ask questions later, stop-and-frisk all young black men, and let it be known that if you attack a cop, you will be shot, and we will all support the police officer who shot you because he protects society.
Good thing for the people of NYC that you're not in any position of influence because they'll go broke quickly.
Of course, you're right. Rampant crime doesn't cost the city a dime, so it's not worth doing anything to stop it.
Like Slavery? Oppression? Prejudice? Then how come poor Asians have a relatively Tiny Crime rate? And how come Blacks and Hispanics have the same very high Violent Crime Rates in their own countries? Ooops!
The New York City Police Department combines Black Hispanic and White Hispanic categories into a single Hispanic category for the sake of brevity. Around a half of those Hispanic suspects are White Hispanic and just over 30% of suspects presented in the chart above are racially white.
In this case it was, since my rhetorical 'questions' contained a statement of Fact, as well as Map. www.yourdictionary.com › Dictionary Definitions › rhetorical The definition of rhetorical is a question that is asked Only for Emphasis or to make a point and is not meant to be answered. Unlike you and your one-line posts, I provided lots of Information in my last post, and throughout. No answers. +
How is that relevant to this discussion? Or are you just obfuscating and redirecting to more comfortable progressive grounds? Criticizing minorities might make one feel "icky".
Because I made it relevant. If you don't like the question I asked ignore it. But of course you won't answer.
Bringing something up in the discussion doesn't make something relevant just because you think you're special. I could bring up Italian sausage pizza in this thread and call it relevant, but it doesn't make it so.
Right, and 89% of all crime in NYC is committed by nonwhites. That's the title of this thread, and what is contained in the OP. You didn't want to discuss the topic for some reason, so you redirected to something else.
Sorry pal but you don't get to dictate what is relevant in a discussion, you can save that crap for someone else.
I would think the topic of the thread would be relevant, while not the topic of the thread would be less relevant. But, then again, I'm not a progressive. I see things differently.
