Charlottesville is run by Democrats. If it was put up to state vote, I doubt any of VA rich statues would vanish.

Monument Ave in Richmond is a rich part of history. I was surprised when I saw the statue of Arthur Ash on Monument Ave with Robert Lee's and so forth, but do not support melting his statue and removing it. It was erected in controversy but so what. It is there and adds to the history of Richmond VA. But for cryinout loud. quit ruining VA by bigoted removal of statues.

lol yeah man been a long time, I didnt think anyone would remember me Darkfall came back, a very libertarian-type MMO game, and I have been on their forums lately where I grew up lol. Obviously I hate Fascism, but I am a firm believer that Fascism would not come about if it was not for the exploitation by Capitalists, Nazi Germany is a great example. Hitler did not make Germans crazy nationalist monsters, it was the surrounding Imperialist Capitalists countries exploiting Germany with the Treaty Of Versailles that made Germany what it became. Without the Treaty Of Versailles, there would be no Hitler/Nazi takeover of Germany. Hitler would still exist, but people would not have followed him and its likely he himself would not of believed what he ended up believing if circumstances were different.

Capitalists are the root of the problem, I have no doubt about this.

It's also good to see our thoughts haven't changed either. I don't see Fascism as right-wing, but as what Mussolini stated: Against the left/right. I see Left as predominately reactionary policies, and I see the right as regressive policies. These are general statements though. In fact, it's today's modern Republican Party(anti-Trumpers), who are pro-corporate with backers(You could say the same for the centrist corporate identity politics.)

I believe in the Unity of the State, and that through a Centralized State, we would not have the tragedies that we're presently talking about. Trump does not believe in the Centralized State, or the Revolution. He simply took the easiest path for himself.

Likewise, as someone who studied Economics, I do not think 'capital' per say influences politics. Capital(Coined money) is a tool. It is the utilization of that tool, that can either bring forth prosperity or ruin. When we say 'Capitalists', what we really mean are people who use money to make more money, for themselves.

This can be done positively(investment in businesses.) or negatively(buying out other businesses, destroying competitors, etc.) In reality, so far as any developed country has a currency, there is capitalism. It is the regulation thereof that's important. Too much capitalism(Venture Capitalism) leads to excess greed and ruin. Too much regulation stymies growth.

If we promote good economic decisions, and not bad ones, capital can be used for the betterment of society. I'd love to shut down Wall Street, crush the bankers and promote a healthy, self-sustained economy without trickery and robbing people of their 401(K)'s and livelihood.
