    Thank you.

    1. I didn’t realize standing for the anthem was part of their job. Very stupid on your part.

    2. Are you saying you stand for or against damaging the NFL brand? Because it looks that you guys.

    3. Here’s about the only thing that makes a lick of sense, a shallow and superficial display of Sunday Afternoon Patriotism.

So yes, my first comment was accurate.

    Who gives a ****?

Vin Scully: ‘I will never watch another NFL game’ due to anthem protests

During an event Saturday in Pasadena, Calif., Scully was asked about the response from team owners, players and commissioner Roger Goodell to the demonstrations, which players continue to use to protest racial injustice and police brutality.

“I have only one personal thought, really. And I am so disappointed,” Scully said. “I used to love, during the fall and winter, to watch the NFL on Sunday. And it’s not that I’m some great patriot. I was in the Navy for a year. Didn’t go anywhere. Didn’t do anything. But I have overwhelming respect and admiration for anyone who puts on a uniform and goes to war. So the only thing I can do in my little way is not to preach. I will never watch another NFL game.”

Army had 393 yards rushing I believe and didn't attempt a pass all game. Air Force had 6 possessions all game long.

Army has attempted 10 passes all season lol

    wahhh America is so racist
    wahhh America is so sexist
wahhh don't wear a princess Halloween costume it promotes "White beauty"
wahhh men must be able to go into the ladies room
wahhh tax payers must fund gender reassignment surgery for illegal immigrant prisoners
wahhh when a gay man wants to speak we riot
wahhh when we spend 7 months demanding peaceful transition then lose an election we riot
wahhh i cry about "social injustice" but the only examples of it that i can ever produce when pressed hard to be specific are ones where some feral criminal gets put down while committing a crime or trying to kill a cop meanwhile you cant go 60 seconds without somebody killing somebody else in the ghetto but hey its hard to triggered people without a white guy to blame so we just ignore that and go on pretending there's a KKK klansman hiding behind every corner because if people aren't kept scared and angry they might focus on improving themselves and then they wouldn't vote for us

tldr; my point is that if they don't like America then why don't they just **** -->

Holly ****! Really? Now I understand your original comment. You weren't only joking. It was true! They were probably all tuckered out even before the game began with all of that standing and singing. LOL. Maybe the quarterback should be issued with a "broken arm" sling to give his arm a rest while holding it motionless across his chest. That'll give your throwing arm a cramp sure as shootin'.

wahhh If they don't stand for the flag they don't like America
wahhh If they don't sing the anthem they don't like America
wahhh If they don't put their hand on their heart they don't like America
wahhh 'Love it or leave it'
wahhh 'With us or against us'
wahhh Stand for the flag or you can watch no sports "you can just **** -->"
wahhh Sing the anthem or you can watch no sports "you can just **** -->"
wahhh Hand on your heart or you can watch no sports "you can just **** -->"

Good luck with all of that, Adolf.

1). He was in the Navy "for a year"? The Navy is a four-year contract. Did they throw him out?

2). So he only likes Sunday NFL because of the anthem? I guess he doesn't like football after all if he "will never watch another NFL game.”

3). Are his comments based upon his shame for getting tossed out of the Navy after only one year?

    Jesus!

It was more than a year and it was at the end of WWII where they discharged huge numbers of service men and women in mass.

I guess Pappy figured out that pizza-lovers were just as likely to be 'knee takers' and 'sympathizers' as everybody else. I guess he's in the business of making money instead of broadcasting his political views. You turned out to be smart after all, Pappy.

So I am right - they tossed him out. But I am sure you are now going to try to convince us that the Navy only chose "the best ones" to throw out ..... right? And what kind of wuss serves only one uncombative year of a 4-year contract ... and uses it to boast? Yeah, give me a break.

In late 1945, early 1946, the nations power(s) that be deemed it unnecessary to have nearly 15,000,000 men and women in uniform.

Perhaps you didn't hear that WWII ended in 1945.

Seems to me like he is one of the countless thousands of casual fans the NFL has lost over this issue. To argue he must not have been a real fan in the first place completely misses the point.
Newsflash: They didn't exactly have a 4 year commitment way back in the 40's the way they do today.

Vin Scully is 90 years old this month. Seems to me like he probably served at the end of WW2 and got discharged when the war ended like hundreds of thousands of other young men.

He received an honorable discharge. No one with any brains would consider that being "tossed out."

He has done far more for this country than you ever did so stop acting so butthurt.

Considering that I served all 3 years of my 3-years contract, including one year in a war zone, I think your statement is very highly unlikely.
