I don't care how many people of a leftward bent keep coming into these threads and saying that the FBI or Trumps handpicked guy said the memo isn't accurate. The NSA, CIA have both verified that the contents inside the document are true. Both. They aren't going to lie to help Trump. They also are not going down with the FBI No one anywhere has said that. Here is all they said and leftists here and all over the world have been changing this very ambiguous statement to whatever they want. We have grave concerns about the material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo's accuracy," the FBI said in a statement Look at that statement closely. It's fancy lawyer talk that at the same time doesn't say the memo is false yet leaves open for interpretation for whatever you want. Note. Key words in their statement.... Omissions of fact and fundamentaly impact its accuracy. OK so by the actual FBI statement facts are missing that impact the memos accuracy. IF THE MEMO WASN'T TRUE THEY WOULDN'T HAVE SAID IMPACTED ITS ACCURACY. They simply would have said... Facts are missing that make the memo inaccurate Clean, cut and dry. But no they are deflecting using leftists and the media who are all leftist mostly to hide behind.. Or try too. ---Check this out my own memo. "" "meteorologist 22 catch says today the sky is blue." FBI response : There are factual omissions that fundamentaly impact its accuracy. Can I the one who is the expert argue against the FBIs statement about my weather report? Can I say it is literally false? No. Are they saying that the sky isn't blue? No... They are saying that there are facts missing that effect its accuracy.... Sure maybe there could be.. Clouds.. Buildings.. Depends.. You can use that FBI statement against any statement of fact and it still would work. It' that ambiguous.
Why was Comey protecting, there's a million reasons that why I'm just waiting sitting back instead of speculating and guessing. I'm not an expert insider.
Oh yeah add that " concerns" to the other two distinctly ambiguous phrases and well honestly you could apply his statement to any single item in the world.
Depends on what the omissions are. But it isn't exactly a secret that this is nothing more than a PR opinion piece written to protect the WH. We'll probably hear lots (without evidence) about how the Steele dossier was the only justification Page's surveillance, and convenient dodging of the fact that this was nothing more than extension of a series of warrants that began before Trump even announced he was running for office.
Except for both of the things I mentioned are, well, you know, facts, and Nunes is writing in defense of the same transition team that he worked for himself, and he has coordinated these defenses for the WH in the past, etc. etc. "Fact" is spelled FACT, not TDS.
Weren't Republicans swooning over Chris Wray in another thread and now that he thinks the memo is nothing but political paltering and threat to security for its classified nature he is being thrown to the wolves by the trumpites. I bet if Trump himself just came out and said I'm a liar and a thief but I'm doing it to make America better they would be like
Everyone who disagrees with Trump or contradicts him in any way is part of the conspiracy. I used to say that jokingly, but it is becoming all too real. I've even had Trumpeters confirm that belief in the past.
when you have to discredit something you've yet to see, you're terrified. you're terrified because you know in you heart that you subscribe to an ideology that is not really an ideology at all, but an endless series of lies, cover-ups, omissions, fraud, corruption, collusion and otherwise felonious and immoral behaviors specifically designed to end with the sustained political power needed to give you more free stuff.
You do realize the irony here, right? Since the point of the memo is to discredit an investigation whose findings having been made public yet?
It doesn't matter. This isn't a 'he said she said', it's not an anonymous source. Underlying this are court documents and official FBI and DOJ documents. 702 FISC warrants, 302 interview reports, court motions, pleadings and writs. All this will come out, give it time.
The MOAM is a summary finding of facts relating to the investigation into the Obama administration's abuse of authority, re: illegal surveillance of US citizens...surveillance not conducted in the interests of national security, but conducted for partisan political reasons.
