No different than the NRA holding conventions where guns aren't allowed ... same crap, different day.
If Hogg was taking a position against the left he would have already stopped because of the threats he would have received by the same left.
Here are some pics from the latest NRA Convention recently held in Dallas. See if you can spot any guns..... https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/gallery/2018/may/08/the-nras-convention-in-dallas-in-pictures
No different? The MSM and this wennie burst onto the scene on the backs of the real victims of MSDHS to make himself famous, and now makes a show of showing up to a closed NRA for the weekend, with a handful of supporters shouting F* America, with ARMED GAURDS?!!! Are you kidding?
You're comparing armed guards protecting a controversial figure who has had death threats to a crazy kid with a gun in a school? That is not a very astute or smart comparison. Muster up some common sense here.
Its not the same The NRA is for gun ownership not gun pocession everywhere anytime Hogg wants to take guns away
OK here's some common sense: I want to own a gun for self protection. David Hogg wants to take that right away from me. However, David Hogg has people working for him that have guns for his protection. Common sense says that's pretty darn hypocritical.
Common sense would have told the young Hogg that no one was at the place where he was protesting....And no, I am not comparing Hogg to the shooter, I am saying that he is a hypocrite for espousing a stance where he believes that you or I don't, or shouldn't have the right to defend ourselves with firearms, while employing armed security for himself....bad look. Wise up.
Have you guys actually even remotely looked at what Hogg has said about regulating guns? He and other like minded people are asking to ban the sale of assault weapons (i know i know you all have issues as to what is being called an assult weapon), prohibit high capacity magazines, close background check loopholes and eventually look into mental health issues in regards to gun purchases. Pretty sure he has no issue with you having a gun. None of these protesters beleive you are not allowed to have a gun. Please either inform yourself or stop misrepresenting other people's words. That would be ...hypocritical
Attention whore Hogg is DESPERATE for coverage, now that his 15 minutes is over...just like Mouthenatti….
They could have held their convention elsewhere. They knew the rules. They decided to hold it in a gun free zone. Their decision.
Dude, their were guns all over the convention. I posted the pics. The only place they were banned was the hall the President spoke in...........by the SECRET SERVICE, not the NRA. You need new talking points.
LOL!! Wow. I didn't think there was anyone still around foolhardy enough to believe that once assault weapons were banned, Hogg and his ilk would stop there.
there's no way Hogg's daddy is proud of him. his vegan moonbat mommy, yes, but not his dad. man on adjacent bar stool: So, what's your son been up to? Hogg Sr.: *sigh*.. wearing skinny jeans and making up lies about the NRA and guns.
The little twerp couldn't define what an "assault weapon" is. None of the anti-Constitution lefties here can either.
Pence is a hypocritical coward, going by the standards set forth here. https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo...convention-speech-by-president-vice-president No Guns Allowed During NRA Convention Speech By Trump, Pence Victims of the Parkland, Fla., high school shooting and their parents are criticizing the National Rifle Association after it announced that gun advocates won't be allowed to bring weapons to watch Vice President Pence deliver the NRA-Institute for Legislative Action's leadership forum keynote address in Dallas on Friday. The NRA says the ban was ordered by the U.S. Secret Service. "Wait wait wait wait wait wait you're telling me to make the VP safe there aren't any weapons around but when it comes to children they want guns everywhere?" Matt Deitsch, a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who helped organize the "March for Our Lives" protest, wrote on Twitter. "Can someone explain this to me? Because it sounds like the NRA wants to protect people who help them sell guns, not kids," he added. Wait wait wait wait wait wait you’re telling me to make the VP safe there aren’t any weapons around but when it comes to children they want guns everywhere? Can someone explain this to me? Because it sounds like the NRA wants to protect people who help them sell guns, not kids. — Matt Deitsch (@MattxRed) April 28, 2018 A notice posted on the NRA event page explained that "Due to the attendance of the Vice President of the United States, the U.S. Secret Service will be responsible for event security at the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum. As a result, firearms and firearm accessories, knives or weapons of any kind will be prohibited in the forum prior to and during his attendance." A second page lists prohibited items, including selfie sticks, backpacks, signs, drones, laser pointers, toy guns and weapons of any kind. ... Pence is scared of selfie sticks and toy guns, too.
Pence doesn't make that decision. The Secret Service does. You should educate yourself on what the Secret Service is in place for.
Agreed. I remember when Obama was on Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and Michelle on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke. Both of them were in cars that were never allowed to leave the White House grounds and a large black Chevy Suburban was closely following behind them. I presume there was one in front in both cases too. The President, VP and others with SS protection are required to follow security rules.
