That's a very good point. Thinking more, it is quite dreadful how people celebrate Irish humour. The discrimination is despicable! Not only does it do a desperate disservice to the Irish people, it's also an assault on the perceived humour levels of the Welsh. Bûm gall unwaith - hynny oedd, llefain pan ym gane
There is truth in that saying. I agree regarding discrimination, but would suggest the Irish and the Welsh have a common sense of things, including the basis for humor not understood by na Sasanaigh. One of my long time friends is Welsh and owns interest in a well known pub in Dublin off Grafton St.
Fascinating. Does he have a dog called Dave? Might as well burrow down and give us the lock, stock...
I and almost 120 others have voted for a firearms sub-forum. I think it's a good idea, but here's the rub, it makes more work for the moderators, more sub-forums to be keep swept up and cleaned equals more work for the less than highly paid staff here, who is probably not paid at all. Consider this, if you truly want a firearms related sub-forum, put your money where your mouth is and sign-up for a subscription to support such a forum. Is there anyone out there in that group of nearly 120 would like to see such a forum happen, who cannot afford $5.00 per month????? I did, now it's your turn, lets make this happen! And if someone out there has the time and thick skin, consider being a moderator for the forum, it's not going to be fun, but someone has to step up to the plate and handle the load.
There's no point in a separate firearms related forum. We can bring up any topic in the current forum, and if someone posts about gun control in a firearm interest related thread, so what? Just ignore them.
Yes there is, that way when people like you try to pollute and derail a thread, they can be kicked out the door.
If it's about a firearm and you post something about gun control, that's off topic, and good bye for your post, keep it up and good bye for you.
I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to respond with my opinion on this thread, but thanks for your misplaced concern. Rather humorous considering your tendency to post off topic.
When you say "done", do you mean that it was either built or customized by someone as opposed to being a factory made firearm?
