I already pointed out that there was nothing wrong with the level of development of the Ottoman empire. Much of that was in North Africa. Where white people took over and the original inhabitants were violently oppressed and/or wiped out in a genocidal way. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the level of development of Japan prior to WWII. The US gets no credits for firebombing and nuclear bombing the civilian population to than claim it build their "modern industrial" country. What a total joke of a claim. It only gets the credit for still justifying to indiscriminately massacring civilians as many as possible. Than again, during them days the US was an backward apartheid state. It's still exceptionally racist. Nazi's march through the streets. I really do get the feeling that this all is an attempt to claim the superiority of the white race.
Yes, but what is their legacy? If the British go the way of the Ottoman they will have still left behind modern democracy, literature, medicine and many inventions which have bettered mankind. The Ottoman Empire left what? As did other peoples of the day. is it your understanding that the Ottoman Empire was voted into power? The truth of the matter, and I assume we all want that, is that White Europeans of the day had a superior culture. The Japanese erred greatly in attacking Pearl Harbor, as many at the time recognized. They have been a very peaceful nation since democracy was introduced, initiated by the US Government and led by General MacArthur. This may help your understanding. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupation_of_Japan

I just stated that their development was just fine. Turkey wasn't a colony of the British, and it's miles ahead of what the British took over from the Ottoman empire. So it's obvious that what those white people did, was draining their resources, slavery or at best dirt low wages and massive child labor. It also didn't bring democracy. You really must be completely out of your mind to suggest that the British helped their colonies to develop into strong economic powers, help educate the population, teach them the wonders of democracy. They did nothing of the sort. They were there, to thieve what they could at the expense of the local population. A democracy is hardly something to claim to have a superior culture. The only thing white people have been superior with, is killing other people, to than drain their natural resources through slavery or at best dirt low wages and massive child labor. That does not dispute that Japan was well developed before those white people came over do what they are superior at: killing as many civilians as possible. You know what Japan did? They did not have an army, and instead pumped their income into their economy. Imagine what the US could have been if the trillions of bucks they pumped into raging a pointless war in Afghanistan and Iraq was put to use in domestic policies.
Japan was massacring civilians by the thousands, and enslaving women by the thousands for sex, long before the US got involved
They put their own ethnic Japanese civilians in concentration camps while their white neighbors were thieving their stuff. That's very unlike what they did to their ethnic Germans. Than again,.. if you weren't white you was a 2nd class citizen in their apartheid state of "the free". They even dragged that far to label Nelson freaking Mandela as a terrorist all the way till 1990 for standing up against violent white supremacy. That nazi country really has no shame.
LOLOL I see history is not your strong point. No, the Chinese, Koreans, south islanders, etc. Everyone they came across.
Their legacy is 'just fine', huh? They were defeated by a superior culture. The people of Australia, Canada, the USA, Ndw Zealand will tell you something quite different. Your best example of cultural advancement, so far, is Mozambique and the Ottomans. Even if this is true other cultures did the same thing, but the White Europeans did it best. The history is clear. If the japanese were so advanced they should have know better than to declare war on the US. I agree with you about Afghanistan, Muslims have been murdering each other for centuries, but Iraq had possibilities until Obama pulled the plug.
agree, there is a reason banks do not allow you to wear a ski mask in the bank... same with some stores and carrying backpacks, ect... if crime increases with Burka's no reason stores and banks can't ban them stores do not have to allow anonymity in them
baggy clothes allow the same, people stick steaks down their drawers or under their coats... it's the anonymity I worry about
Yet another advantage. All they'd have for a description was he/she was dressed in a black body bag, thereby rendering the latest technologies useless.
in the USA Muslims and Christians are using religion to discriminate and bypass our laws in the long run this could come back to bite them
Given that the majority of the Founding Fathers were Christian it's hard to imagine what the response might be.
pharmacy employees refusing to fill valid prescriptions based on religion is a good example government employees not issuing marriage licenses be another
It's illegal. You also have Muslims who won't allow dogs in their cabs, they are fired. An important piece of paper. Photo by alexskopje/Shutterstock Gay marriage is now legal in a lot of states with a lot of residents who really hate gay people. Some of those residents are tasked with granting marriage licenses in their official capacity as clerks or magistrates. What happens when a gay couple asks an anti-gay clerk for a marriage license that they are legally entitled to? Does she have a religious right to turn them away? In October, the Alliance Defending Freedom—a far-right group dedicated to legalizing homophobia and criminalizing homosexuality—issued memos advising clerks in Virginia and Oklahoma that they are legally empowered to refuse service to gay couples. (Marriage equality recently became law in both states.) Now Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, usually abbreviated as AU, has fired back with its own memo, asserting the exact opposite: that clerks have no right to rebuff gay would-be newlyweds and that gay couples have a legal right to be free from such discrimination. AU’s memo is six pages long. But the ADF’s arguments are so fatuous and untenable that they could probably have been dispensed with in a paragraph.
