No, but they all promised a bunch of free money to a bunch of people. Some even made promises to illegal aliens. Others want to give cash to black people at the expense of white people. I don’t see Trump losing with this lineup.
I really did vote for Hillary in 2016. But from the day Trump won I began to regret my vote - I consider mass protests against legitimately elected president to be disrespectful to this country. I also think that blaming whites for all black problems is ridiculous. And I most definitely think that even talking about reparations divides the society and causes artificial racial tensions. As someone who never owned a slave (and none of my ancestors did as far as I know), I think it’s ridiculous that almost all democratic candidates suggest to spend my tax money on reparations, paying people who never were slaves (and quote of few of them don’t have slave ancestors). To me, this is an anti-white racism issue, plain and simple. And that’s why I’ll vote Trump if any Dem candidate against him supports or encourages reparations. That’s my red line.
I wouldn’t be so sure about most of the country. Polls are pretty misleading, and just because most of the biased mass media says so doesn’t make it true. In private life I see pretty significant support for Trump. People just tend to keep it to themselves. I personally think his manners are horrible, but somehow economy is keeps going, which is the most important issue to me. My relatives that voted for him admit he has horrible personality and they would never want to be friends with him in real life but they find him to be a lesser evil. I think 2020 will not about who you support. Everyone will be voting against someone, not for someone. That’s why Dems have very little chance of winning - their platform is all about being anti-Trump + extreme slide to the left. Not a whole lot of independents and undecided voters like that. Trump became a “known evil”, which makes people more concerned about the “unknown evil”, giving him the advantage. If Dems didn’t cater to extreme left, this election would be a cake walk. In reality they’ll lose for being stupid and, judging from Dems not learning from 2016, they’ll cater to even more extreme left because they’ll think, again, that instead of being inclusive of the moderates, they should try to motivate more extreme left voters to show up at the polls, who would never vote for Reps anyway.
his mental issue I think are actually saving us from a much worse Presidency - he is so worried about his petty ego, he has a hard time accomplishing anything Trump is a set back for this country for sure.... but only about a year to go
republicans fear a Pence Presidency as much as dems do... only reason Trump has not been impeached yet imo
Most Democrats do not support reparations it’s just a couple of people who support that so you don’t have to worry about it. The mass protests were t about legitimate elected president but about a president who had values and morals that were despicable and was a threat to the country. Isn’t that what democracy was about? We had the women’s march in DC and you had the neo Nazi march in Charlottesville. And I really wish you wouldn’t talk about slavery, it was not even 70 years ago that blacks were considered inferior human beings, having to sit in the back of the bus, Do you think those internalized beliefs just disappear when they become illegal? And I also wish you would stop making yourself a victim that “blaming whites for all black problems” that’s extremist thinking
I disagree. Pence has absolutely no charisma and he isn’t a conman who could rile up a base like trump. I don’t think he could get away with any of the crap that Trump gets away with. I don’t think Pence would even talk to his base like they are stupid the way Trump does
Trump has spent a lifetime of functioning in social situations as a complete jerk. Pence wouldn't even know where to begin.
Aw, that chip on your shoulder must weigh a TON (metric)! Try to imagine how little Americans care what people who live a country the size of Montana think. Germany had its heyday, but after we kicked your butts twice, you're correct to play it safe and rely on America to keep you from being invaded (except by Islam, you made your bed on that one, so lie on it).
Not with near the zeal as with Trump - and with good reason. Trump acts a whole lot crazier than either Bush or Reagan.
