No, a 12 year boom is a travesty if you look up how economy works. What we do wrong? We produce enormous into export, save lots of money and spend not enough on private consume. As world economy slows down, exports stutter.
Isn't the Daschund most identified with Germany? However if the Germans think the UK is America's poodle then that explains their poor knowledge of international politics. It's probably because they're the only ones who speak German, or want to.
The Dackel "Dachshund" is used dor hunting Dachs, the german word for badger. He fights a bigger enemy, is brave, smart and strong. A poodle is a toy dog. Weak and used dor nothing. We understand politics quite well. Thats why we stayed out of libya, iraq and syria. UK gets orders from USA, like hijacking iranian tankers. Then when Iran strikes back, USA kicks its poodle and doesnt help them, so the UK gets international humilated by Iran for its blind following of US orders. And please, you dont know that German is not just spoken in Germany? German is official language of Austria, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Liechtenstein, parts of Italy, Belgium, Denmark. We dont want be a slave of USA. Thats why we oppose your rubbish. Btw our new nordstream 2 pipeline is 87% completed. Oh your mighty trump wanted stop it. He cant. Impotent... Must hurt alot to see how we just laugh about your orders and move on.
A lot of contributors here are a bit nutty. From personal experience I have been to Germany, it's a fantastic place but also has issues, I have been to the United States, also a fantastic place with some issues, I have been several times to China, a fantastic place with some issues, as is the Republic of Ireland, the UK as a whole is similarly mixed including the constituent countries of the UK, Northern Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland. I would say the same about all European countries, and I have been to nearly all of them. Personal experience. The main feature of each place has been the people. Some I feel a connection with, some less so. I do not see China as better or worse than America, or Ireland compared to Wales, or Germany compared to Greece. All of you who go on about this nationalistic points scoring stuff, have you considered how many degrees of separation you are from plain racism? Anyway, with regard to brexit, the court ruling next week will be constitutionally huge in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Yes, just after it hit the dock. Its even still connected to the concrete and you see blocks crumbling.
https://tradingeconomics.com/germany/gdp-growth See that graph? You didn’t have a 12 year boom. In 2013 your economy contracted and then it pretty much flatlined at under 1%. I bet Eastern Germany was in recession for many years now. Your AfD lied to you.
You obviously dont know how economy works slav. We have zero unemployment and produce export record after export record. As your own chart shows, our economy was almost constantly growing for the last decade. Explain me how Eastern Germany can be in recession many years now with constantly falling unemployment and constantly rising wages? And what has this to do with AfD? Dude Chernobyl really took a toll on you.
And as you go to those countries, you should experience their cultures, their food, their people, their buildings, their everything. The EU wants a United States of Europe, experience the same **** in every member state. No thanks.
Wrong. The EU helps to fund the various cultures. The individual european countries outside EU would become slaves of USA, Russia or China. Thats a simple fact.
I believe you are plain wrong. There is no evidence for what you say. If you mean something along the lines of a Macdonald's in every high street makes everywhere the same, then that is down to big business not the EU.
Blimey, where to start. How about, experience different currencies? What about different laws, they're becoming harmonized. Weights and measures. Sizes of vehicles, the shape of fruit and veg. Common standards on green bonds. The list goes on. Basically where laws and regulations are applied across the member states. Free movement of people means the erosion of cultures, visible on the types of shops, goods and architecture. If people haven't seen this, it's because they've probably never been to Europe, something that's never crossed their mind or they're not aware of basic social science.
So when you are down the pub drinking a pint of beer eating a bent banana and paying for it with pounds sterling to the Australian barman, does it occur to you that maybe you should stop reading the Daily Mail?
I don't read the Daily Mail. It remained a pint of beer due to the uproar, many a market trader were fined/prosecuted for not using metric scales. Was it cucumbers that couldn't be bent by more that 5 degrees? The bent ones were thrown out! Sod the poor and wastage, chuck them out. After another uproar, bent bananas can be sold bent because bananas grow bent. There are some thickos in the EU coming up with stupid rules. And yes, pound sterling because we weren't stupid enough to take the useless Euro on. What makes me laugh is the argument of how economically safe we are to be in the EU, well, that didn't seem to help in the financial collapse recession, did it!! And for your information, it's never been economically beneficial to be in the EU. Taken in on a lie and morphed into a dictatorship, so the sooner we get out, the better. If the EU was such a fantastic members club, all the countries on the planet would have joined.
The rule about cucumbers not bending more than 10mm for every 100mm in length was abolished in 2010. Would be a shame to wreck the British economy for a rule which doesn't even exist. Kind of sums up the Brexit campaign though, can't come up with any real positives for leaving so they have to scrape the barrel for negatives. There is not a single rule or law which has been imposed on us against the will of Parliament. We don't have the Euro, we are not part of Schengen, we have independent law courts (even have different laws in Scotland from England and Wales). The EU can't make us do anything we don't want to do thanks to our veto. It is hugely beneficial to be a part of the single market free trade zone. We buy huge amounts of produce from the EU from cheese and wine to cars and wardrobes. All that trade would be seriously disrupted by tariffs and other restrictions.
I voted based on sovereignty. If I have to follow laws, I want our MP's to decide them and not by ******* idiots in Brussels. I had relatives fight in two wars and I had relatives die in two wars. I am not prepared to piss on their graves and hand the UK over to Brussels. My next priority was I would like to see our borders shut and immigration based on a points system like Australia. I want the UK to decide when to kick someone out. I'm not interested in the single market, I suggest 25% tariffs with the EU. I'm more interested in UK manufacturing, the skills of the British and kicking the EU into touch so we can start trading with the rest of the planet. Nick Clegg said a guy in his constituency voted to leave so house prices would collapse so he can get on the property market. Reasons differ. People vote for thousands of reasons. You need to understand that my reasons are not the same as yours and your reasons are not the same as everyone else's. If it's some fake economics reason on your side, that's your prerogative but if you think I should find that important, you are going to be sadly disappointed. I've seen and deal with the EU **** and red tape all the time. Time to **** them off.
People voted for a lot of reasons. The result therefore boils down to the word leave. How is 'leave' to be manifested on the land border? A question no brexiter has been able to answer.
Supreme court rules prorogation of Parliament was unlawful and as a result the suspension is null and void, MPs are already heading towards the House of Commons. A unanimous decision by all 11 justices. Boris lied to the Queen. Off with his head...
Boris and his henchmen prevailed on the Queen to act unlawfully. He will still try to get out of this but he is finished, it is just a matter of a few days or a few weeks. The result was an 11-0 defeat.
Boris Johnson's suspension of parliament unlawful, supreme court rules For democracy to recover, a referendum that specifies the details concerning the UK's proposed exit from the EU must be submitted to the People at some point. Clinging to an antiquated survey rather than allowing a now far-more-knowledgeable public to determine their destiny will result in the dissolution of the kingdom. The lies that have been told have done immeasurable damage, and placed the UK in a position that is unplayable. The sensible recourse:
Unless he gets a vote of no confidence, which he will lose. And if that happens the opposition will have to agree to a general election, which he will win and thus remain in power for about as long as he wants.
The Tories will replace him before an election. You can't face the people after illegally suspending Parliament and lying to the Queen.
Right now the polls put the Tories at 32% - 37% and Labour trailing behind at 22% Boris could bugger the royal corgies and still win the next election
