    Which has nothing to do with legal marriage.

    Thats a cute way of saying you have no logical arguments just your opinion.

    What “truth” do you believe you are expressing, you are literally arguing a legal and civil institution does not exist for people that are actively participating in that institution because of your... feelings...

    It is not a type of marriage. It is a type of union, just as marriage is a type of union.

    Your (and others') efforts to redefine the term 'marriage' does not fly by me.

    There are no current efforts to “redefine” anything...
    Marriage has already been “redefined” to allow same sex couples to marry. Just like it was “redefined” to allow interracial couples to marry, and interfaith couples prior to that. Just like it was “redefined” to allow no fault divorce and divorce in general prior to that.

    thankfully, your agreement and opinion have no relevance to the actual definition of marriage in the US. Same sex couples can, have and do marry. This is a demonstrable fact. They are identically married to opposite sex couples.

    This has repeatedly shown to be demonstrably false. Same sex couples can and do marry. Their marriage is identical to an opposite sex marriage.

    no it hasn't. It's been numerous definitions, changing throughout the entirety of human history.

    It's not my or anyone else's "effort." The term "marriage" in the legal sense, HAS been redefined by law. It's just that simple. Pretending that this isn't the case doesn't help your and my argument that true marriage is between a man and a woman.
