While the Palestinians are at one of the lowest points in their history, it's hard to understand why they are so quick to reject Trump's 'deal of the century' out of hand, even before hearing its details. Even with a forensic examination of Palestinian discourse, from newspapers to social media, it is difficult to find a significant voice that doesn't completely reject US President Trump's "deal of the century." The Palestinians don't even know what they're rejecting so passionately, as the contents of the Trump administration's peace plan remain vague—even after the TV interview with Jared Kushner earlier this week. Us Israelis, meanwhile, are so used to the Palestinian intransigence that we don't even stop to ask: Why? https://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-5470836,00.html Why ? I'll tell you while. Because they want it ALL.
No "Palestinian" leader is brave enough to seek peace. Kalb Arafat was an evil terrorist lier and his followers are not different.
No money in 'Peace' for the gangsters who run Arab politics in the Gaza and PA. They're doing great with their extortion businesses, with Europe, via the UN, piling goods on top of goods, the Saudis and other regimes throwing money at them hand over fist daily. They're the best fed and clothed 'refugees' on planet Earth; why would they want to stop the gravy train? They have no incentive whatsoever to go along with such a silly thing.
The Jewish settlers before 1948 also didn't want peace with Britain unless Britian sped up an independent Jewish state and accept their terms... I guess Britain should have ignored the Jews and stayed put until modern times, instead of having respected a bunch of terrorists' demands, right? After all, if a people can claim a land "theirs" after having been gone for nearly 2000 years, the English could surely claim sovereignty over the same land since the English crusaders captured part of it even more recently in time...
Indeed. Israel never wanted peace. They wanted total dominance and the ethnic cleansing of the rightful native people in the region. That is why they sent in settlers on occupied land, because they never intended to let the Palestinian native population keep their own land.
Rubbish. Those Syrians and Turks need to go back home where they belong instead of doing murder for hire gigs in Gaza and the West Bank.
They could have never allowed those settlers in, and kept themselves to the 1967 borders. Instead Israel, an organized state with an army, air force and artillery kept talking about stone and occasionally rocket-throwing Palestinians not wanting peace. If a foreign power took my land, why would I want peace? Sure, practicality and realpolitik dictates that they have no choice but to accept that they land has been taken over by foreigners, but Israel keeps taking more and more land, forcing the Palestinians to not be able to say yes to anything. The only choice Israel has left now, starts with admitting the obvious:There will never be a Palestinian state, and annex every last vestige of Palestine. Then there's a choice: Either integrate the Palestinians as Israeli citizens, or maintain a South Africa-style Apartheid system. Or... ethnic cleansing: Kick out all the Palestinian Arabs of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem and claim it as their rightful "ancestral" (lol) home while inviting the rest of the world's Jews to immigrate to Israel to fill up the "cleansed" space.
More rubbish. If you want to make up silliness like the Arab invasions being ' just a few rock throwers n stuff', you're not here to have a real discussion.
The Arab invasions are a completely seperate thing from the issue of the Palestinians. There is no Palestinian army, just like there is no Palestinian state. Israel is not at all militarily threatened by Palestinians.
Nonsense. The people living in Palestine and under occupation, don't "belong" in Jordan. They belong on the land they've been on for longer than the Jews have.
Only those who know who are the so called "Palestinians", understand that what you wrote is pure nonsense.
Doesn't matter at all what you call them. You don't throw out the native people of a land just because some foreigners from all over the world want to colonize it, citing a 2000 year old real estate contract from a divine real estate agent communicating through burning shrubbery. If God gifted it to them, he also took it away from them. Wasn't God that gave them back Israel, was the British. Stealing land from the native population is the sort of 18th/19th century behavior most people rightly frown upon. Or do you believe that the US government, or American settlers individually should restart the settling of US regions inhabited by Native Americans, bulldozing those peoples homes and building their own there, instead?
Have you heard about UN re. 181 ?? Probably not. Besides that the so called Palestinians are NOT native people of Israel. Most are Bedouins that came to the holy land from Arab countries and settled their in the last 80 or so years. You can read all about it in the section - The Palestinian Wall Of Lies.
Nonsense. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11543891/ Modern day Palestinians are predominantly descendents of those Jews and Christians (which some of them still are) who converted away from Judaism, after first the Roman empire Christianized, and later, when the Arab Muslim invasions occured in the mid to late 7th century. Genetically, they're not Bedouin Arabs. They're the descendants of the Jews, Aramaic Christians, Greeks, Armenians and other groups that lived there in the 7th cent. They're the people who stayed.
Myth Alert .. Myth Alert. Stop trolling "Palestinians" are Bedouins. Learn about the area, do not be fed by the pro Islamo Jihado Arabo fake Media. Do you know that the largest family "Hamullah" in Gaza is named El-Masri ? It means in arabic - The Egyptians... They came from Egypt and settled in Gaza near the beach. Bedouins !
Yep. The got a second state in Gaza, and now some idiots are claiming that yet a third state will settle the issue .... lol lol lol total rubbish.
3 Arab Palestinian states ... Mmmmm ... Not enough. Them Bedouins want it all. Meanwhile they suck our donations.
The article you linked to was retracted. From a scientific point of view, it should no longer be used as a source.
Rubbish. The place got cleaned out in the 1830-1840's, during the Egyptian civil war against the Ottomans being the latest desertions, of many previous ones. It was why the Ottomans were desperate to repopulate the area and sponsored at least three 'Aliyahs' from Russia and eastern Europe that I know of, beginning in the 1860's-1870's. The remnants of the Arab populations hid out in the hills, avoiding the drafts and paying taxes. The few local Arabs considered themselves part of Syria then, but the Jewish-British development of the citrus fruit industry and other investments drew in illegal Arab workers from Egypt and Turkey, mainly. The British always looked the other way on illegal Arab immigration when they took over from the Ottomans, while crying and sniveling about Jewish immigrants. The Peanut Gallery can of course find all this on their own, no need for anybody to have to guess at this stuff. With the gradual imposition of strong borders, more and more of the Bedouin were forced to settle down over time. This is the bigger tragedy; many people, even many Jews, admired the old school Bedouin and their wandering culture back in 'the good old days'.
