    I would say that the doctor finally won. When that poor MD came out and said that he and Trump had “discussed the use of HCQ” I knew they had disagreed about it because that is doctor speak for “the sodding idiot kept insisting so I finally wrote a script but he has to do what I say with it” and Trump apparently had to have a full and long overdue medical exam including an ECG

    the “discussed the use of HCQ”

    meant to me that it was discussed, but never prescribed as the MD did not want to lie, but was ok with leaving stuff out imo

    that said, I think if Trump did not take it and pushed it (while lying and saying he took it himself) and people are harmed by it, he should be liable

    sounds like some are triggered by others questioning the pushing of the drug by Trump

    IMPOSSIBLE. ALL THE BEST PEOPLE TOLD ME THIS WOULDN’T WORK: This Indian slum contained a possible COVID-19 disaster with hydroxychloroquine.
    The ICMR guidelines recommend prophylactic use of HCQ for the following categories:
    In other words, HCQ is for anyone with the slightest chance of contracting COVID-19.

    I was told that even opening a bottle and sniffing the contents would probably kill you.

    The FDA restricted HCQ use because of the known cardiac side effects. It is known to affect cardiac HERG K+ channels. Of course, leave it to the usual suspects to make a conspiracy out of it.

    Hydroxychloroquine has been used for ~70 years. There is no cardiac problem when administered under the direction of a competent physician. It is used in every country as a very effective anti inflammatory for multiple illnesses including COVID, RA, malaria, and lupus.

    That's an extraordinarily ignorant analysis. First of all, if your GP does not have a discussion with you regarding a drug they are prescribing to you, then you should get a new doctor.

    The fact of the matter is that Trump started a prophylaxis regime of hydroxychloroquine + zinc because a personal valet with whom he had close contact on a regular basis tested positive. And he stopped taking it because the prophylaxis regime was over. You don't just keep taking it forever. Everybody who is not completely ignorant regarding the subject knows this.

    And the fact that Trump didn't get sick with COVID 19 after repeated close contact exposure, despite being at very high risk because he is over 70 and overweight, is further evidence that hydroxychloroquine + zinc works as a prophylactic against COVID 19.

    And although literally hundreds of millions of people have taken a prophylactic regime of HCQ, there are less that 100 documented cases (63 IIRC) in which it was found to be the cause of death.

    It has an extraordinarily safe track record, despite the ridiculous fake news media claims, from the likes of CNN, that it will kill you. What is crazy is the number of TDS afflicted morons out there who believe everything CNN tells them despite the fact that all of the evidence contradicts them.

    TDS is a horrible mental illness.
