Why Joe Biden (A non Trump thread)

You will need a better argument than that one if you want to convince more than 40% of America to agree with you.

 

I'm not trying to convert anyone, just offering another view.

 

My numbers stand. When you have something to refute them let me know. Thisbis enthusiasm to get out and vote, the enthusiasm that matters election day.

 

You forget that people will definitely be motivated to vote on election day to vote to defeat the guy that they strongly dislike. And that is Donald Trump who is strongly disliked by an outright majority of Americans.

And in a year where an outright majority of Americans are also going to vote via Mail-in and Absentee Ballots? That means that Donald Trump has even less time to change their mind.

To quote Donald Trump, "No one likes me."

 

Why Joe Biden? He wasn’t my first choice, but my hope lies in his position in ‘08-‘09 on the economic recovery package. If you recall those discussions he advocated what he called a “moon shot”. Though his ideas were frustrated he was where he should have been.

Personnel is key. It’s heartening his transition team is lead by Ted Kauffman with Julie Siegel within that team also. So my eye is on the cabinet and placing people in power that know how to utilize it.

Biden’s a reasonable man so I can be patient and hope for the best.

 

Biden is connected and corrupt - those are his best qualifications to be the Democratic nominee.

Moreover, he is completely in bed with China. If Biden wins China will move pretty quickly to finish off our economy while keeping the race riots going.

If Trump wins, there will be a fight about it, but to no avail would be my guess.

2020 just might be the last election we have under our current Constitution.

 

I am not a big Biden supporter. He does seem like a decent guy and that is necessary right now to repair the severe damage the country has endured. A consoler-in-chief may be the best type of president for the times.

 

This is a choice of violence running rampant throughout our country, losing our history and our culture, not to mention our 1st and 2nd amendment rights. All of which will happen if Biden is elected. Not a time to play games or worry about which personality you despise. Biden is an empty shell. Which may give people the idea that he won't really do anything so nothing to fear. However, his emptiness, his tendency to swing whichever way he thinks voters are swinging (note the changes of mind he's had through his political career), and saying whatever his radical colleagues tell him to say is incredibly dangerous. Because, regardless what he believes (if he even knows), the empty shell of him will DO what the radicals tell him to do, especially because he will owe them. And that's scary.

The notion of Biden being an empty shell who is controlled by the radical left is directly undercut by his explicit refusal to endorse the notion of defunding the police and medicare for all.

Even the Biden-Bernie policy agreement basically made no alterations to the Biden's original policies.

Also, I really have to wonder at the wisdom of claiming that the "violence running rampant throughout our country" right now is somehow completely divorced from the guy that is currently in the white house.
