When I said, use "covidtracking.com," I was providing you with a link and a credible citation...did you need me to type in "www." for you as well?

I am solely pointing out an assumption of your argument. Why do you need a citation?

It is easier for me to quote the relevant experts that cite the double blind studies, but if you need links to the studies themselves - just let me know.

A website? So, if you have access to said website, it shouldn't be a stretch for you to actually glean the necessary information from said website that supports your justification. Do your work, it is the work you demand others do. Feel free.

...the **** are you going on about? I get that you think you are being clever or trying to point out some hypocrisy that you think I am exhibiting, but you are wrong.

The number of tests is not synonymous with the number of individuals tested. For a very clear indication of what happens in the States where they made a switch, you can look to this recent report from Minnesota.

"On July 30th, Minnesota reports again number of people tested. Due to this change, the number of total tests by Minnesota will decrease by 200,000. Number of specimens tested will still be tracked and available in our API."

Good for Fauci, but there are 147.3 million people in 11 developed countries that state otherwise. Why is it that people in Costa Rica, Israel, Indonesia and 8 other countries are succumbing to COVID at less then 1/3 the rate of the US and other developed nations? Oh, I know. Their doctors are prescribing hydroxychloroquine.

You have got to be ******** me. When faced with five randomized and double blind studies, your response is a really weak ass attempt to use correlation from hcqtrials.com?

Do not use HCQ unless your personal doctor recommends that you do so and, even then, consider getting a 2nd opinion.

You say write this, and it might even make logical sense to suggest it. It still doesn't absolve you of your own method here. You demand that others repeatedly provide you citations. And yet, here you are, waiving a web site as if that is the answer, which it isn't. So, you asserted a claim, it might sound reasonable, but you haven't supplied any substantive data that actually illuminates the extent to which your suggestion might otherwise support the attack on the data that was provided as not being credible. Do the work here. It is the standard you demand of others.

Just to highlight a few of your "sources."

Why are drug acquisition costs, adult obesity prevalence rates, or the notion that fake HCQ is showing up in Brazil proof to you?

Because there is no reason to bring it up until the statistics are finished. This is, for better or worse, a work in progress. And India has just now began to ramp up its testing - it is months behind the USA in that regard.

Comprehension is not your friend, but trolling apparently is.

REPORTER: "This week Americans lost 6-7k people during the taking of Iwo Jima. How confident are you in the ultimate success of our current island hopping strategy, and what will "success" look like?"

Yeah that would have been stellar leadership.

An honest answer would have been to see eye to eye with the American people on the severity of this pandemic, not to pretend from day one that it is under control and will go away soon.

Translation... why, you are correct, but it makes my previous post look less credible.... And now, there are excuses..... Got it.

And yet, a reporter never asked a question like that of FDR. And had one asked, at that time of FDR, their future housing might not have been very comfortable....

What magic bean did you expect the president to offer up? For that matter, why aren't the reporting class asking folks like Fauci those same questions? And when he responds with useless doublespeak, why aren't you this concerned? When Andy sent sick folks to the nursing homes to die, which reporter asked Andy why, or how successful his death rates were? And why didn't he get asked?

    What magic bean? For starters:
-Being honest with the American people about the severity of the crisis
-Showing compassion with the ones who passed away, and their families
-Being realistic about the failures of the efforts to contain the virus
-Having a realistic plan for future pandemic management, instead of blowing rose-colored smoke

Hmm.. so, basically be a democrat? Is that what has to always happen? Just some perspective here. Realistically, what do you expect a president to do? Would you favor say the use of marshal law? Would that be an effective containment strategy? Would that demonstrate his level of honesty and recognition of the severity of the crisis you describe? As for the "realistic plan", what does that even mean? Who would means test the plan? you?

Folks have died. Yup. It's sad. Totally. This happens, periodically. And yet, I still haven't seen you, or most folks of the left cry out against the cause of the virus being 1) engineered, 2) developed at the behest of the previous administration 3) developed in a lab with inadequate safeguards, 4) inadequate safeguards leading to it being released, 5) failure of the Chinese government to contain it while they could have, etc. And when folks, like me, bring this up, you folks run away telling us that we're conspirators... you know, against "china", or some other toss....

At this point, given the inability of the medical community to effectively develop either a cure, or a treatment, what do you want the guy to say? What can he say?

Dr. Fauci was asked this week by Sanjay Gupta, "Did we let the American people down" with our "failed response?"

    Fauci's response:
“Sanjay, you know if I make the statement that we let the American people down it would be distracting because that would be the sound bite and I wouldn’t want to get the message that I’m trying to get across, where I think we can handle this if we have some fundamental principles that I hope and I know you’ll let me get the opportunity to articulate, because we can do much better, and we can do much better without locking down,” Fauci responded.

Fauci faulted the binary approach that some states took regarding a lockdown and noted that the goal should be to find a place in the middle, which would eliminate surges without leading to a complete economic crisis.
