No I mean encourage a 17 year old to become vigilantes, and encourage people to break federal laws by voting twice, I mean by speaking publicly saying covid is a democrat hoax but in private say it's something very serious. These are the things I mean

Under Trumps presidency

We have built 5 miles of the wall he campaigned so much about and said it would be paid for by Mexico, it was paid by Republican supporters and the rest of the money donated was stolen.

We entered into a trade war with China in regards to tariffs, that shook the foundation of the steel industry and shut down many factories. It disrupted the agriculture business and all the subsidies provided to keep farmers afloat have been from American consumers paying those high tariffs.

We have become a laughing stock to the rest of the world as we continue to lose power within the UN while China continues to gain more leadership positions that allow them to dominate trade, health and military policies globally.

We have lost the edge in innovation and technology.

Trump has dwarfed the forests and national parks funding.

Infrastructure in the US is crumbling.

He hasn't brought coal mining like he said he would.

Most of all he has supported anarchy.

 

I was going to keep going and really break down the economy for you but I know you won't rebuttal with any substance and you will just turn to a democrat city that has "riots" even those riots are only a few blocks and completely ignore all the bad policies and lack of leadership from trump

People pay taxes on Chinese goods so that they buy goods from other countries. This is what hurts China.

China does the same thing to the USA goods in the trade war. It's not a tax on Americans unless less they buy from China.

IMO if you are going to support China and not boycott them, you should pay a tax so that we can support the military advancement we need to counter the gains you just gave to China.

 

You missed the point it went way over your head. Trump stated China would pay tariffs, and they don't the American importers pay the tariffs and then the American consumer pays the tariffs plus profit. China is not affected in the way you believe. China has imposed tariffs, but again the American entities are the one footing the bill. China has cut off funding to many domestic companies and now they are left reeling because Trump did not create an economy to support the loss of China funding. China has gained immensely from the trade war.

 

Nope. I was just pointing out that Trump is in no way responsible for the current Chinese buildup. You are the one that sent the conversation off the rails.

That is not the whole story. In order for the US to force China to reduce their tariffs, the country has to be behind him. The democrats automatically oppose anything he does and the tariff fight was lost before it started.

 

Trump enters trade negotiations with China by himself. That false argument of democrats fighting him is moot to this topic

 

Lag time prevents that from being true. Not only do they have to decide they want a buildup, they have to design and build the equipment, before the building can even start, they have to get the raw materials in place and then the subcontractors. Maybe sometime in the future, but whatever gains China has made were already in the works before Trump became president.

 

If the democrats had supported him, it would most likely have worked. As it was, not a chance.

 

Oh you're still talking about the military. China has developed missiles and advanced technology within the past year buddy. They brag about it all the time. It may have been in the works for years but trumps failed policies allowed them to see it through faster.

 

Why would they support trade negotiations that leave out firms struggling? Many of our businesses rely on China because it's cheaper to outsource but now Trump is having companies try and find materials, equipment, labor and technology that America doesn't have so the businesses are left to pay the tariffs and provide additional kickback to China. Trust me China is walking all over Trump.

 

They cannot build anything that quickly. It requires deciding to do it. Designing it. Approving the design. Constructing tooling. Arranging subcontractors. Obtaining raw materials and finally construction which itself likely takes months.

 

While all the time democrats gripe about depending on China. Absolutely China is walking all over Trump because he cannot do it without support.

 

Well if he would step up and be a leader and bring everyone together and stop tweeting like a 3rd grader then he might get support
