Travelers came from Europe, and many other places to China, then went from their to other countries to the US. ALSO, Americans were allowed to travel back from China. Apparently the "china virus" doesn't travel in americans, and it dies instantly once a traveler goes to another country

 

And Chinese nationals flew to Europe, then to the U.S.

So Trump who democrats called reactionary and xenophobic for the china travel ban should have banned all Chinese nationals from every country in the world based simply on the fact they are Chinese?

Keeping my job was a higher priority to having the government shut me in because other people might get ill if we keep the economy running with reasonable social distancing and hygiene. Thanks to my governor, I have been able to work as usual. The ability to make an a living and having cash flow to pay bills is personal to a lot of people. Trump made the right call to try to balance the economy with controlling the virus. He's done a great job. I feel sorry for the people whose moronic governors have had them on lockdown for almost 6 months with little end in sight.

Trump doesn't use panic to get votes. Most legal migrants don't want millions of illegal migrants traipsing across the border. The people who viewed the Central American caravans as invaders might surprise you. Hint: It's not all "white people". Also, the suburbs are far more culturally diverse than they used to be. If you worked your way out of the ghetto and bought a nice suburban home for instance, you don't want your city building high-density Section 8 housing on the empty lot across the street in the name of "justice". The left is fixated on black and brown people. Their are a lot of brown and black people in middle- and upper-class neighborhoods these days. I think it is funny. There are countries, like Uganda where Malaria is prevalent. Very large segments of those countries take Hydroxychloroquine for preventive measures. There is hardly a trace of Chinavirus in those countries. You only listen to the scientists that are in the pocket of Big Pharma and the left wing media. That is how you get your education. All we needed to do in the United States was to guard those with compromised health. The rest of the population could run this thing out. The ships were sent to NY with orders to serve nonCOVID patients only. With the halting of discretionry medical procedures that required hospital beds, the number served by the ships was not that large.

Almost every state and country has shown reductions in COVID due to actions taken, followed by a relaxation of those actions that has resulted in COVID taking off again.

Suggesting that the varying degree of adherence to actions prescribed by medical science is not the reason for reductions followed by increases is absurd.

NYC and NJ are the locations where COVID entered America. Only two states have had a significant percent of COVID cases that came from exposure to those who came directly from China. ALL other states have the vast majority of their COVID coming from Europe.

The fact of NY and NJ being major ports of entry and the fact that those ports remained open to foreign travel made those states ground zero for the COVID assault on America.

Attempting to blame that on state officials is pure political garbage.
