My Last Vote Before America Becomes a Totalitarian Dystopia

    I received my ballot today and while I am an Independent I will be VOTING straight Dem because the ALTERNATIVE is a VIOLATION of EVERYTHING that America stands for.

    I am taking an additional step and returning my ballot by courier rather than USPS because of the MALICIOUS attack on the USPS by the NEFARIOUS regime of the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief in order to SUPPRESS mail-in ballots like mine.

    I call this my LAST vote because I have no expectations that the RESULTS of this election will be allowed to stand UNCHALLENGED by the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief. It could even be a Blue Wave AGAINST him and he will still try to OVERTURN the results using the CORRUPTED Legal Branch that he and the lickspittle GOP Senate have IMPOSED on our nation.

    The wannabe Fascist-in-Chief will use every means at his disposal to REMAIN in power and that INCLUDES mobilizing his heavily armed base of supporters to ATTACK anyone who exercises their Constitutional Right to PROTEST. We already KNOW that the cops will look the other way while these attacks take place just like they looked the other way while white nationalists looted and burned our cities while placing the blame on BLM.

    As with my Pandemic predictions that a MINIMUM of 200,000 would DIE that was NOT the OUTCOME that I wanted to see happen. Had there been any other RESPONSIBLE ADULT in the Oval Office we would NEVER have had to deal with this appalling death toll.

    My prediction on the OUTCOME of this election is also made in the HOPES that we will NOT have to deal with a Totalitarian Dystopia but I am a REALIST. We are seeing those Pandemic Deaths BECAUSE of the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief's totalitarian "leadership" where QUALIFIED experts are DISPARAGED and whackadoodle alternatives are embraced instead.

    So my LAST vote is just the FIRST step in what looks like becoming a BITTER FIGHT for the FUTURE of our nation.

    Our RESOLVE for a BETTER future needs to be STRONG because those that want their Totalitarian Dystopia are willing to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to STEAL this election and yes, that INCLUDES the use of VIOLENCE against those of us who PROTEST this USURPATION of our RIGHT to have our VOTES COUNTED.

    My hope is that Democracy, Sanity and Reason PREVAIL over the forces of DARKNESS that want to IMPOSE their Totalitarian Dystopia on We the People. If we DO prevail then this will ENSURE that many more FREE and FAIR elections will continue in the future for our children and grandchildren.

    However I am posting this WARNING because FAILURE is NOT an OPTION in THIS election.

    EVERY citizen must VOTE and ALL votes MUST be COUNTED in 2020.

    to be honest, Bush and Trump have already destroyed this country, the fed is keeping the country a float with near zero interest rates, dumping Trillions into the economy and buying stocks to keep the stock prices up

    we are already 30 trillion in debt, greedy corporations outsource too many jobs overseas and import too many goods, we are gonna go bk just like Russia did, the question now is who mans the sinking ship

    If all you got is accurate predictions, then you need to stop predicting. :)

    I have to agree with the lean towards an authoritarian government. We seem to want to keep giving more and more authority to the Executive, while seeing the Legislative as a subservient branch of the Executive. Presidential election politics start the day after an election, but we put less importance on and spend less and less time focusing on the local elections.

    But before I start blaming "them" for all this, I think it's really important to look at how technology has fundamentally changed how we interpret reality. And then again, I'm not just talking about computers and the internet, but about the very old business of consumer psychology. Think of Cambridge Analytical and all that misguided nonsense back a couple of years ago. They analyze data collected every time we log on to our computers (or phones). We all have personality profiles that are exploited to get us to buy things. Not just products, but political ideas. They sell that data to politicians. They're just one of many businesses that collect and sell our data to politicians, and that's not anything new.

    The strategies are old. Going back to the days of Ben Franklin, we can see how he and others used the media of the day to manipulate what people understood about the world around them, convincing the people (the majority of whom had no interest in a revolution) to go to war against Britain. The science of marketing developed using the same basic principles Franklin and others used. It's tied in to psychology, and it's been studied for well over a century. In short, if you know a few things about another person, you can intentionally manipulate that person and convince him/her of almost anything.

    Most people laugh at the idea that they can be manipulated into buying things they never knew they wanted, or to believe things about a reality that's been created to fit their personality. Sadly, those most easily manipulated are those who most adamantly believe they can't be fooled. The irony with all this is the most effective tool for mass manipulation is technology, yet the whole science of it is online, companies sell themselves by bragging about how effective that are at manipulating voters and consumers openly. And it gets mostly ignored by most of the people.

    Basic critical thinking skills--those that we are so convinced we have--are sorely lacking in today's world. So, it's not them that's the problem, it's us.

    If you were speaking against the democrats and the anarchists instead of for them, I'd give your post a thumbs up for credibility. But you're not, and I have to wonder how any person could be so far out of focus and off track as you seem to be. It's unfortunate that you seem to lack a clarity in your vision that would cause you to see and compare things in a valid way, but it appears you are buying the gas-lighting plot that is attempting to destroy the fabric of the nation. NO president can do that- it's only the people, losing the ability to think rationally and for themselves that can destroy us. To see the big picture, one needs to be calm, back off and look at the whole scheme of things. Hope you can find the will to do that.
