No I knew it would be close. Once elected I even thought he deserved a chance, but that changed soon after he took power and he decided not to be the President of all Americans.

Black people are not as stupid as democrats think they are. They see what is going on and they KNOW their lives got better under 3 years of Trump than 8 years of Obama that is a fact.
Trump will get a minimum of 25% of the black vote, only 5% will admit it for their own safety. But they know in their hearts he is not racist, unlike Joe, he is the real racist in this race.
Would not surprise me if he gets 35% of the black vote.

Actually democrats would be devastated if Trump got 15-25% of the black vote.

We may never know who voted for whom. Besides we should not be dividing people into groups. When will we stop this?

Seen a poll yesterday on one of the stations that Trumps job approval was 24% favorable and 76% unfavorable. I don't know how that translate into votes but I don't think it translate into good news for Biden compared to past years the black vote for the Democrat nominee.

The ones that he sees as his enemies, Democrats, liberals, people who live in cities, hispanics, dreamers, people who take a knee, educators, health experts, government workers. all those people he has called names and blamed for shortcomings etc. He is concerned only about his base. He is not about anyone else. He refuses to work towards solving problems that are linked to protests, the virus infestation, the environment. the divide in this country.

I agree, It should have stopped a long time ago. The only person we can control is ourselves. We can begin by discussing issues and possible solutions instead of laying blame and calling names. If Chicago has a problem the whole country has a problem. If family farms have a problem so do we all. If immigration policy isn't working suggestions for improvement should be discussed. Personalities should be left behind. If you don't like people who disagree with you calling you names don't call people who you disagree with names. This country did not become great by screaming at one another, but by problem solving and compromise.

That’s silly. Most states use driver’s license data.

"Citing a survey conducted over the summer by American University’s Black Swing Voter Project, the analysis noted that 73 percent of Black voters aged 60+ “strongly” trusted congressional Democrats to “do what is best” for Black people, compared to just 43 percent of those aged 18-29.

On the question of whether they trusted congressional Democrats to “do what is best” for Black people, the same survey found 73 percent of the older age group said they “strongly” believed so, compared to 43 percent of those aged 18-29."

I'm convinced that Trump will make strong inroads with the Black voting block.

He and Kamalalala both swept through Michigan to no appreciable benefit, and it appears Harris is just doing shout-outs as she runs for the limo rather than stand still for hardball questions. Biden's MIA in the basement and the metro Detroit papers both are trying very, very hard to ignore the cool reception to "You ain't black" among the...ah....actual blacks. Biden's mouth will kill his campaign if the senility does not.

One presumes holding onto the throne would mean to help preserve the incumbencies of those most supporting her, rather than her own arguably "bulletproof" incumbency. No argument that down-ticket pain is ahead when Biden slinks away and the dance of the feces-gobbling shysters takes over. It's just too bad nobody counts his verbal gaffes in a single speech, like with the number of times Hussein used "I," "me," "my" and the like.

But your comment strikes a chord. I just wonder how much attention the dedicated-left are paying when they intend to do straight-ticket anyway and wouldn't care what someone else on the same ticket had said, not said, done or not done.

A five-judge panel has allowed Maine to become the first with preferential voting in a presidential election. I am not taking bets Collins will keep her office.

Because Democrats allowed the squalor in Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago and everywhere else Dems had uninterrupted power for thirty or more years. How long would YOU tolerate empty promises and outright lies?

That's quite a racist thing to say.

And look at this piss poor job democrats are doing in big cities, especially black neighborhoods. Why would they keep voting for that??

Not excited as much as gratified. In this case the uphill fight to get even 5% was seen as a hard one. But it took a President with enough guts to openly say what internet forum and other commentators had known for years. Seriously! Objectively! How often are Republicans even running in black cities? How often does the GOP side calmly and dispassionately get told, instead of wild claims directly intended to scare the rubes of any hue.

Democrats gave whites a lousy name by lying their heads off to blacks. I have every reason to believe that after 40 or more years in so many problem-towns, color won't matter nearly as much as ideas on how to make it better, not just retain being Democrat. Trump has those ideas. Biden just wants to stay in his basement.

That's Congress. What are their opinions on Republicans? Your stats are meaningless without the other side to compare.

True. After the Real ID Act, these licenses also are increasingly accepted as adequate ID for voting. Not all states yet, maybe, but heading there as our de facto national identity card. It's the most convenient way to select names for the screening process. Would non-driving property owners get summoned, just to be impartial toward drivers? Doubtful but possible, I suppose.

The divide is eternal, the virus unstoppable despite presidential incumbent, and refusing to interfere in state issues regarding riots sounds like prudent adherence to the law and not succumbing to leftist demands to riot and then accuse him of not doing anything about it.

Generational differences, mostly, but the young turks are restless and the aging Democrat hierarchy now appears vulnerable, particularly with Ginsburg's death and Biden's obvious age-related decline.

I wonder if Biden would win if say that same 15% did not vote Dem but also did not vote GOP. The hard-core socialists, the black militants, the staunch black separatists. The ones convinced Biden's too vanilla and Harris too likely to sell them out once in power after her prosecution of things like marijuana.

Where are the black Biden rallies? Where are the numbers of signatures supporting this Biden proposal or that? Where is the proof Trump can NOT take 15% when Biden is that bad?

I think many on the left have really bought into their own bunk. They are going to be shocked and dismayed. They've completely forgot there are differing opinions out there.
