And also, importantly, someone who witnessed the aftershock of the Nazi regime and the fact that most participants were simply normal people.
LoL, you say that like it means something. I take my moral cues from my peers. People in the middle class who aren't whoring around, who work hard, who raise families and who demonstrate a morality many levels above the scumbags that the left want us to follow. You are free to take your moral judgement lessons from the garbage tier humans who have brought America to this point, I will take a hard pass.
You have no right to speak from where I take my moral cues. In actuality, I don't need anyone else to define me or tell me how to think or what to believe. I posted that he had political experience because you tried to make it seem like he just left a Hollywood studio and made a video about the riot on January 6, 2021. That's not accurate and is misrepresentation of who he is or why he would speak out about that riot.
I don't believe trump is a particularly good con men. He does not communicate effectively, he has trouble stringing together coherent thoughts. I'm afraid only one of two things are true: Amercians ARE, by and large, pathetically stupid or Amercians are, by and large, so blinded by cynicism that they dont see trump for the fool that he is. I suspect the truth is closer to the latter than the former and hannity, rush, and to a lesser extent tucker have been cashing and intensifying a destructive feedback loop.
“The scumbags that the left wants us to follow”???? Did you seriously write that without a hint of irony? What about the scumbag serial philanderer, accused rapist that you follow? (Trump).
But if you want tips on how to get into the sack with pornstars while your wife is at home with your newborn, then pay hush money to keep it quiet, you need to take tips from dirty donny. Trump supporters have lost the right to claim any moral high ground. Ever.
He would have been a typical republican when I wore a younger man's clothes. I wonder where they all went, why they are no more.
~ Arrnie S is a fake - a self-involved Hollywood hype. His "political experience " is a joke. Obviously you were not living in California when he was Governor. He is good at comedy. That's what he should concentrate on.
I think he's a good con man because he's been able to stay one step ahead of people he owes money, has filed bankruptcy several times, paid almost no taxes (while reaping the benefits of what they provide) can "work the room" quite effectively. bullied his staff and terrified several people in Congress who are terrified to disagree with him. single-handedly got countless people to storm to the Capitol and riot on his behalf while he ducked out after promising to walk with them. and much more. I also don't believe that Americans are stupid. Some are misguided and possibly ignorant about the way politics works but hardly stupid. I believe we have created a strong culture of "us v. them" that people are not willing to see anything except what they want to see to justify their position for whichever side they are on. It's a psychological game we all play with ourselves. It's just tragic when it becomes so deep that we are unable to break the trance when something drastic happens as we saw during the Jan. 6th, 2021 riot. One would think that would be the wake-up call needed to snap out of it. For some, it's still not enough.
The governator pledged to stand with Biden forever. I guess when someone who is a politician and professional speaker is willing to produce an address to the nation of that quality, I assume they’ve put some thought into word choice and phrasing. But of course I realize the address wasn’t produced for people like me.
I've only visited CA. Never lived there. Doesn't every American have the right to speak out about what they saw during the riot? Why is his opinion any less important than anyone else's opinion? I, personally, am not a fan of his acting and I never followed his political career. I just heard a man express his own thoughts about an event that griped the nation for several hours. We, here at PF, express our opinions all the time. The only difference is most of us aren't famous, have thousands or millions of fans and followers. But, we all have the right to speak out if we so choose. That's not discounted just because some think he's a joke and/or fake.
~ Does every American get to go on television to express an opinion ? Will the "news" media broadcast every American who wants to make a speech ? I suppose some folks are impressed with the Hollywood dumbbells and late-night TV hosts.
His use of the Godwin principle and typical liberal hyperbole is very offensive and insensitive. Are you aware the the Kristallnacht Arnold is trying to compare the a US riot to resulted in 30,000 Jews being put in concentration camps in one night.
He is a Republican former governor of CA. Not some reality show dumbbell like the current occupant of the WH. Listen to his message. What do you disagree with?
I know a few people that became "famous" just from having a blog about their area of interest. They got the Hollywood contracts and contacts and were "average" citizens before the fame hit. Many people are impressed with Hollywood celebrities. Why else would they vote for people with no political experience? I'm not a Hollywood fan so I don't really understand it but I know that it happens quite a bit. Some people love Trump because he's been on tv. Until we, people in general, start judging others based on something more than superficiality we are going to get stuck with the likes of celebrities being chosen as "leaders" of society.
