    . . . we got questions. It has now been 50 days since Hidin Biden was sworn in. Donald Trump waited 28 days into his presidency before holding a press conference, while Obama waited 21 days, and Bush 34 days. Biden has gone the largest stretch without a press conference of any president in the past 100 years. I will be surprised if he ever gives a single press conference and takes questions.

    He isn't capable of answering impromptu questions. That's one of the reasons they pulled him off the campaign trail early and stuffed him in his basement.

    Least transparent administration in history, and Biden is signing off on some of the most radical policies while DNC handlers hope that moderate Democrats are not paying attention.

    That's the tradition being discussed. The one addressed by the OP. It simply means the POTUS and the press, without other participants.

    Opinion noted. I disagree.

    Agreed, but whining about it isn't going to accomplish anything.

    I think it's a smart strategy. It gives the administration time to get the checks rolling and the vaccines into people's arms. Biden gives himself a much better position by waiting. He's supposed to be going on a tour touting the ARP. Psaki said this month, but I think it will be next month we get a press conference. I'd like to see one myself, but I'm not too worried about it.

    He read a 20 minute well-rehearsed script off a teleprompter then shuffled away when a reporter tried to ask a question.

    That is not a press conference.

    I rather thinks it's nice not to turn on TV and get the low down on a thousand different twitter rants. Besides, I can follow what Biden is doing or has done, how he is governing without any press conferences. It doesn't take a political rocket scientist to figure that out.

    Sometimes, at least for the time being, silence is golden.

    You and everyone else who researches a bit can see what he's doing. We shouldn't have to research what our federal government is doing to us. Media is shirking their responsibility and Biden sure won't be open and answer questions.

    Newly exploding border crisis
    New bombings in the Middle East
    Destruction of American oil jobs, while investing in foreign oil pipelines
    Placing the most radical ideologues in cabinet and high-level positions
    Putting critical race theory (CRT) programming into public schools to indoctrinate children
    Threatening further restriction on individual freedoms
    Further dividing the country

    This administration is counting on the fact that most Americans won't do any digging into what is being put into place. They just tell the public that everything is nice, rosy and peaceful.

    "Trust us," they say to the slumbering sheep.
