Sure, why not. We could tax the churches in the process.

There was an attempt by a few German theologians to show Jesus as an Aryan but it had little support apart from in the german evangelical movement.
Certainly Jesus was born in todays Palestine, was a poor peasant and of course like todays Palestinians live under an occupying power.
Would be interesting if the Bible and Quran were actually treated like other old books, they are certainly full of it!

At the time Jesus would have lived, had he existed, he most certainly would have been Middle Eastern looking. Dark hair, brown eyes, darkish skin. The Mediterranean world, including Rome and Greece, were completely ignorant of White people. When the Romans first encountered the Germanic tribes, some 400 years later, they described the light skinned, light haired, blue and green eyed people as a new race of men.

The only western democracy that looks really shaky is the US and that is because religion appears to of saturated your politics and ended up with a violent insurrection and a refusal to accept the result of an election.

I mean no disrespect to those who believe in the Word of the Bible (which is supposed to be the Word of God), but as a believer or person of faith, I have never followed the Bible. It has no credible/reliable author(s) and no direct quotes. It cannot be verified. It is a great framework (for the most part) for how to live a good and decent life, but the 'stories' written about 'people' are heresay, passed down through the generations. So I'm not overly concerned about the cancel culture's affect on it. And even if it were, would it affect faithful people's belief in it?

What does "cancelling" the Bible even mean? Banning it? No, we aren't in any danger of banning the Bible anywhere in the Western world.

That's the opposite of the truth. It's still almost impossible for an atheist to get elected.

What's more, if you actually paid attention to the PC brigade, you'd know that there's enormous pressure to show respect to minority religions.

As though the tripe you posted justified anything more than a chuckle or kudos for fanciful imagination.

I agree with this. I believe all religions are equally valid, and flawed. They are man’s attempt to figure out truth, and each accesses and explains that truth in different ways. Then the power hungry hijack religions for personal gain, which is basically where the Bible came from. Don’t get me wrong, it has lots of good stuff in there, but a lot was omitted as well, all the stuff that the powers that be (emperor Constantine and friends) thought would be a challenge to their hold over the Roman Empire. The Bible was created to be the framework that kept the elite in power and the peasants in check.

Spiritual truth, and god, are all found within you. No bible or church required.

No, that's mostly just a myth. We've covered this topic in other threads.
The people in the Middle East today are mostly not the same people that were there 1600 years ago. The Arab invasions during the expansion of Islam pretty much wiped them out.

~ Take your own advice. The "enormous pressure" is to make America feel shame and hate itself. Some already do !

Not only is your sig a trolling lie, you are actually going to pretend that it's true. And you accuse other people of posting "tripe"? Shouldn't some basic honesty be a requirement of any constructing interaction?

I wonderbif Muslims will see where things are going or just sit back cheering on the purge of Christianity while waiting in the same line?

Biden would never ban obscure religious practices. As a matter of fact he gets his forehead smeared with ashes every Ash Wednesday. We're not out of the woods yet with this Biden person in charge.

Biden isn't in charge. The shadow cabal is.

Most people clearly see Biden is out to lunch.
