You really think if people do not discuss what the colour of skin "Jesus" might have been "we" will become overwhelmed with violence? Sometimes when people fart loudly the smell speaks for itself. There really is no need for follow up except opening a window maybe.
No I don't think that at all. But lately anytime skin color is mentioned in a thread or elsewhere....the insults start to fly from all directions... take a look at the news if you haven't already. Wisecracks like that one usually just fan the flames....
its bigger than THAT! Western civilzation WILL collapse if we have this discussion on a broader basis and im deadly serious.
In regards to no.1 no it is not that simple. Its not "anytime" skin colour is mentioned. Its when them topic of race is used in a context that expresses NEGATIVE accusations or allegations people might challenge those comments of which some contain insults not all and that is why there is a moderator. If in fact everytime race issues were mentioned the insults flied you would see far more moderators intervening and shutting down things. Let's be fair about that and not hypberolize. Next my comment was deadly serious. What I said is if someone wants to engage in a thread they know by its inherent nature is designed to be contraversial and provoke emotional responses, then you decide for yourself-if someone farts at you I would suggest you open the window. You want to fan a flame, respond to the fart. Responding to deliberately provocative comments is like lighting a match to a fire. Open the window. It will pass. Nobody is going to riot, kill, piss their pants over someone wanting to provoke about the colour of the skin of Jesus. Its a silly thing to be upset about. Most people know anyone from the Middle East was brown or olive and certainly not pink. Most of us are aware the depiction of Jesus as pale, blond haired, blue eyed reflected the bias of the painter. Back to your comment. I challenged you because when you give a question like the thread starter anything more than comic relief do you not become party to what it provokes? You really think arguing over the skin colour of Jesus is anything but meant to be annoying? Really? You want to make it more than what it is? Really? Man come on. Get to the real point and that is whether I shoot you, Jesus, a black man, a white man, y'all bleed red and mush up the same way. Just avoid people who throw rocks man.
Esau with due respect I disagree but I would add I know your intent is genuine. I only mean to challenge you and Gab and the topic rhetorically not personally. If I sounded personal sorry to you 2 but I think giving attention to Jesus' skin colour fuels racists.
It could be that I am reading more into the topic than Esau intended....I hope he will correct me if that is true. What I see in Esau's OP is the fact that dark skinned folks have always been expected to just except and conform to a white society's preferences. In my opinion, the point that Esau's OP is making is that... dark skinned folks have compromised for hundreds of years...why is it so difficult for whites.
Western media is utterly determined to make believe that the biblical Jews were a "caucusasian ppl" and ANY opposing voice is basically cancelled and dehumanised by MSM. This is an extremist agenda.
Your fairy tale wakanda version is. Everyone with decent common sense knows that Jews are not Caucasian
Your fairytale white Jesus (Jews) is nothing more than Nazi propaganda. Everyone with more than one brain cell will admit that Jewish ppl are caucusasians.
ANYTHING BUT BLACK!!! PLEASE TELL ME IT AINT SO, I WILL DIE OF SHAME IF IT IS TRUE! Btw, middle East is a Eurocentric determination. Using that terminology in THIS discussion tells me exactly where your bias lies, in the white gaize.
~ I am happy to settle this dilemma. Jesus was a Chameleon skin non-binary Jew. He could raise the dead, walk on water and part the sea.
Hey they're your post, don't try to ask me to make sense of your two contradictory post that cancel each other out.
Call it biased, that’s fine. Still doesn’t change the fact that Jesus was not black. He didn’t stand out in any particular way. He was born in Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph were from Nazareth. This area is middle eastern. Not European, not Asian, not African, not American. He was middle eastern and there is no evidence to suggest otherwise. I believe the fact you deny the odds of him being middle eastern shows your bias and no one else’s. Love the over used caps lmao. The facts must have rolled off my post and landed on your caps button
