Max was ahead. If anyone needed to back off, it was Lewis. Normal first lap racing incident. At most, Lewis deserved a five second penalty added at the end of the race. The most successful racing drivers are overly aggressive. It just goes with the job.
I agree, that's why I said it was definitely Hamilton's fault. Considering he did it deliberately I think the 10 second penalty could be seen as overly lenient but it led to a great race and reduced Max's lead in the championship to just 8 points which is great for F1 and may have influenced the stewards' decision. Whether the penalty was fair or not it's certainly a great result for F1. I for one won't be missing the race in Hungary next month.
