I suppose that would depend on what you mean by "the feds". if you are talking about our elected officials, no I do not trust them. If you are talking about the average Fed Employee, I trust them as much as I do anyone else
I wasn't aware that was a subject out of reach for you. Monotone=the same message over and over Excitable=Too easily excited But you don't know how someone could be both? Thats telling Yet here you are again making assumptions again you know nothing about. You have no idea who I voted for or if I even like Trump. Thats the definition of monotone Thats the definition of excitable. If the information I provided isn't comfortable for you, might I suggest another type of forum. I did notice you decided not to respond to the other excitable issues I provided. Again, pretty telling
So the event on Jan 6th was a Right leaning riot. As in, all Republicans and any conservatives are responsible and agree with it. I didn't view it that way, I usually apply responsibility on the people who actually did whatever, but this is kinda cool, I can use someone's actions to hold someone else responsible, of course, at my whim and discretion. If it's not convenient, I can just ignore it. Also, using your logic, Trump and company ARE responsible for the events on Jan 6th. Who organized the event? Do you think it was a coincidence that it was on the day and time that congress was certifying the vote that Trump lost and right down the street?
Great post, cd8ed. People either get it, or they don't. In general terms, some would rather go back-and-forth spamming the same warmed over "talking points" in every thread. You know the type: Every post revolves around "Libs Bad!", "CNN Bad!", "Dems Bad!", " MSM Bad!", "Biden Bad!", Etc... And, once again, speaking generally--It is literally beyond comical that anyone who spends post after post repeating the same warmed-over "talking points" (ad nauseum) could possibly accuse anyone of posting in an "excitable monotone". ^Talk about Look in the Mirror, Pot Meet Kettle. Just wow.:smh: Anyway, as to the topic, it is clear that tomorrow's "rally" is going to be a big flop. The organizers would be better off canceling it altogether. (To avoid the embarrassment of nobody showing up).
Did you miss my question or did you decide it was too tough of a question to answer? What was the word in CNNs statement that claimed anything about what I might believe?
Actually "monotone" is to have the same tone and pitch in your voice. Usually its a display of disinterest. Skip to about 30 seconds into the following video and you'll see what monotone is:
Or its also used in reference to Without vividness or variety; dull, repetitive "the monotone housing developments of the big cities"
It's Bush-level era propaganda. Anyone who remembers the John Kerry elections(2004), remembers the terror light system that was literally pronounced like a couple of months before the election. We're back to that from the Beltway, we will get constant 'terror' reminders, only for it to be a false alarm.
I hope you don't mind... BUT, I want in to this "Monotone" thing: Dick Clark introduces The Monotones (Book of Love):
Trump watched the insurrection for hours on TV before he did anything. So no, Trump waited long after things had gotten out of control.
And if Timothy McVeigh weren't a right wing wacko, innocent people wouldn't have died. Your comparisons are fallacious.
We don't even have to go that far. The BLM riots were driven by anger over police brutality. Neither religion nor politics. Trying to compare anger over death by cop to anger over losing an election is fallacious.
If you have something to say then say it. In the meantime No 'direct evidence' of plot to kidnap or kill lawmakers in U.S. Capitol attack: Justice Department official The top federal prosecutor for the District of Columbia said Friday that investigators have not uncovered direct evidence at this point of any "kill/capture teams" targeting elected officials during the U.S. Capitol insurrection, contradicting allegations made earlier by federal prosecutors in Arizona. https://www.npr.org/sections/insurr...-to-capture-and-assassinate-elected-officials
I dunno. The entire "defund the police" and coming down hard on riot police kind of helped to perpetuate the riots in Portland clearly showcasing where Ted Wheeler's loyalty lies. I mean it did result in the entire riot team quitting. So. You know? There's that. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-57532258 I'm not sure I've seen any republican politician attempt to adjust laws or reprimand police trying to stop violence. Do you? Personally I don't give a **** that some rioting chick got shot in the throat leading to THE ONLY DEATH on january 6th. (wish I could say the same about the body count of Antifa or BLM riots...)
Antifa was last involved in violence in 2017. There is no evidence to support antifa being involved with BLM.
They took over an entire city block and declared it a no go zone in 2020 for Christ sakes. What are ya? Trolling me? They literally just clashed with police last month. https://www.foxnews.com/us/antifa-right-wing-protesters-explosives-chemical-spray-clashes-portland
Ok so now we are on BLM violence? Because you just declared that Antifa hasn't been violent since 2017... Last year was a big year for BLM violence. What with George Floyd and all that. https://www.the-sun.com/news/3123181/hundreds-blm-rioters-looters-vandals-charges-dropped/
So if a few people represent all Trump supporters, do the people who had Rape Melania signs represent all democrats? And I can't believe that anyone anywhere would whine about a little civil disobedience where a protester was shot and killed after a year of rioting, looting, arson, assaults, at least 25 murders and thousands of injured cops. The left literally allowed that to happen. And if that's not good enough, Kamala Harris was part of a bail funding org that got the violent rioters out of jail, many who went on to commit even more violent and worse crimes. Has anyone done that for the mostly peaceful 1/6 protesters? What the violent left did is beyond appalling and it made the country look like a banana republic. Freedoom to protest peacefully does mean freedom to riot, loot, burn, assault and murder. Do you remember when the peaceful liberal protesters tried to barricade a police station's doors shut and then set it on fire with cops inside?
No. My point is that conflating BLM with antifa is fallacious. I don't read Anarchist Daily, so pardon me for not being current. I remember Berkeley in '17, and though I'm aware of the morons in Portland - both proud boys and antifa - I don't keep up with their daily shitshows.
I mean I guess you just don't pay attention to the news and **** then huh? BLM clips and videos have been spammed for the past year. Where the hell have you been? I mean that's just a few. There are hundreds of examples of the "mostly peaceful" BLM protests. LOL...I'm being trolled.
