If cons can't run their own social media companies, why do they think they can run their country.

    Just another empty threat.

Red states, in general, take more federal dollars than they give. Blue states, in general, take less federal dollars then they give.

It would be an interesting experiment, indeed.

How about, instead, we just collectively take back our power at the state level, and let states fund themselves? To me, that is the better option.

You make a great point there, as for sure there would be a higher likely of a two-American state being much more vulnerable to our top two foreign enemies. But surely you must be aware that America under this biden administration (Democrat Party/Progressives) has made our nation much more vulnerable and defenseless against the welcoming of criminals entering through our southern border, and with us now being energy dependent on OPEC, and with us now being basically at the mercy of China as they're preparing to spread their power over Taiwan and Hong Kong etc., and to keep us paying even higher prices for products (including pharmaceuticals) that are made there and that are one of many mainstays for our American economic needs, and by giving the Taliban et all a free pass to ignite another 9/11 terrorist attack--sooner rather than later. In summary: Everything the Democrat Party stands for and is doing policy wise is destroying America, and just looking at the administration's poll numbers in every important issue/sector of American life finds that they're under water in them all, and underwater to the point that they'll be lucky to ever get to the point of being able to take another breath of fresh air. In other words, they're on their death beds, and those are beds we Conservatives on the political right are not willing to succumb to without putting up a fight like we saw in Virginny where Parents for Youngkin raised their voices nationwide for all to see, and for all to grasp on to.

The reality is that all 435 assclowns in DC enjoy the fruits of a huge big-brother daddy government.

Pretending otherwise is ignoring 50% of our problem.

Most likely because most on the left can't start a lawn mower, much less a war. They would be too busy trying to decide which bathroom to use.

14 of the top 20 taker states are red states. Texas is in that list.

Be careful what you wish for.

nope, Texans want to secede, pay their debts first or we take their state and don't let them take it with them, guess Texans can move to Mexico, it's more Christian then the USA anyways, they should love it there

Due to the natural resources of the land, Texas has more farms and ranches than any other U.S. state, and it also is responsible for producing 35 percent of the crude oil in the U.S. If Texas were independent, it would bank about $1.5 trillion per year, putting it between Australia and Spain in 13th place in terms of large economies.

Additionally, because Texas has 25 military bases and the only nuclear assembly plant in the United States in its borders, Where does that leave the rest of the US?

Simple economic sense suggests regulations reduce productivity and slow economic growth. It only makes perfect sense that when federal regulations and taxes are removed, there will be more financial stability.

On average, Texas ranks as having the 10th largest economy in the world. There is no doubt that an independent Texas will do better.

It would hurt the US a lot more than it would Texas

Well, if Texas wants to secede, I say pull all US Federal money, military, and anything related to the USA out of Texas and let them fend for themselves.
Before long, they would see why they were better off being part of the US. After a while, they might possibly be part of Mexico again.

In terms of federal tax dollars received, Texas is #18. That's pretty high up on the federal teat. Welfare queens.

:roflol:The left wouldn't have the guts. Most couldn't start a lawn mower much less a war.
Didn't we just get a glimpse of how the left and their president did in Afghanistan?
Call for an evacuation then their president goes on vacation.
If they can be defeated so easily by a bunch of Taliban, they wouldn't stand a chance against Texas.

They would spend most of their time whining on CNN or marching in vagina costumes while arguing over bathroom rights. We already got to see that movie. lol

If you don't know what I'm talking about, (The lights are on but nobodies home) and have no clue what happened in August, How in the world could you even think of fighting Texas. or even which way it is to get to Texas? lol

If you're so outraged by a Senator that goes to Cancun during a weather crisis, How are you on a president, who orders an evacuation in a 3rd world country, leaving thousands of Americans behind enemy lines to Taliban terrorist, then hides out at Camp David refusing to take calls from world leaders or the media for 4 days?

Some states pay more than they get back. Some pay less.

Texas pays less than they get. They are a net drain on the states.

In general, the red states get more than they give, and the blue states get less than they give.

Now you're just guessing because you can't defend your own remarks.
Texans sent the federal government $261 billion in taxes in 2016, and the state government received $39.5 billion in grants in return, or about 15 percent of our total federal tax tab.
Texas is 29th on Federal Funding reliance. Texas’ dependency score is 21.2 out of 100, the second-lowest among its adjacent states.

Meaning, they give more than they take.
    What else ya got

Apologize. They are 38th, not 18th.

Still behind those bastions of loony liberal policies, like Cali and New York.

And that would include hosting 25 military bases.
I don't think Texas leaving the union is going to be hurting for federal money since once the get rid of all those federal regs, they will have about a 1.3 trillion surplus annually.
