What is your opinion of Greta Thunberg?

I have to say I dislike her, she is rapidly becoming the poster girl for the environmentalist movement but she comes across as self centred and a budding zealot.

 

I feel bad that people have scared her so bad that she feels she cannot have a normal childhood. People should not be telling children that the world is going to end.

 

She’s a poster child for the term, “useful idiot”.

 

She is pampered and over-indulged and terribly arrogant.

 

I do not like her as well.

Greta knows about the Global Warming as much as I know about nuclear physics, or maybe even less. I don't now if she can convince any average intelligent man. She has a strong believes, maybe even stronger than:

She is a feckless "role model". She never says anything specific or useful. It amazes me that the allegedly more educated and enlightened folks would follow the musing of a truant school girl so readily while ignoring the voices of so many who have actual practical solutions to lower carbon.

Probably she thinks it is normal für everybody to travel First Class on trains, stay the night in Palace Hotels, und cross the Atlantic as the only passenger in an expensive boat for millionairs. While longflight aeroplanes fly overhead to service that boat.

I feel sorry for her.

Her raging narcissist parents have created someone who will have no capacity to guard her own happiness. She's been indoctrinated into the behaviours of narcissism and self-agrandisment - always attention seeking, and never happy unless there are thousands or millions watching and admiring. They're quintessential stage parents - not one jot better than the freaks who parade their toddlers in 'pageants', and in many ways much worse.

I think she’s a waste space. Can’t stand her. She wouldn’t be happy unless we were all riding horseback but then she would complain about their farts and how humans support too much livestock. She is quite literally worthless

Nothing specific, just that climate change must be dealt with and that's it's comical to think the actions of human beings over the last 250 years have had no effect when our actions mimic the natural methods that nobody denies are capable of causing climate change.

She’s just a critic. Literally that’s all she is. She’s not articulate, she’s no thinker, she’s just a critic. She consumes more oil based products than I am sure everyone on this forum yet criticizes their use. Sure it would. I would actually believe she is capable of thought rather than a mere rant. The only reason she rose to fame was because of her age at the time she came forward. More than likely pushed forward by her parents. She has zero to add to anything.
