Trump still wasn't going to make sure law enforcement was safe on Capitol Hill since he was planning to send his MAGA's to storm the building and overthrow the government.

That's what he's hiding from the 1/6 Commission.

He doesn't want anyone to find out that he was organizing a riot and that he made sure there wouldn't be enough police to keep the elected officials safe at the Capitol.

 

Says you. Many of us feel that Trump was negligent by not addressing his goons for over two hours after they began. In my opinion and most other sane people I know including a majority of elected lawmakers that is criminal negligence.

Once again as a foreigner you do not understand how the government here is organized. Trump as President has no domestic law enforcement authority. President cannot order federal troops to engage in domestic law enforce, it is not a top down it is a local matter for the Mayor and the local police and at the Capital the Capital Police who report to Pelosi and Schumer.

they haven't made a determination on that point, either way.

Just because they haven't charged someone doesn't mean they won't. Such a case would require long preparation, and massive amounts of evidence. And many of the higher ups haven't been subpoenaed yet. Currently, they are just going for the low hanging fruit, misdemeanors, trespassing, and so forth. We do not what other investigations they have going, nor will they tell us.

Point is, just because they haven't yet doesn't equal a determination.
