No it's because people have a phobia. If someone is only afraid of people when they have guns and can see them that someone isn't very smart. The type of person that would aim to do someone harm wouldn't openly carry a firearm.
He needs to sue Biden for referring to him as a white supremacist. There needs to be a defamation law suit. Not just with Biden but against the entire liberal press.

The evidence won the case, not much a prosecutor could do with it. I do agree this prosecutor overstepped his role in this just to try and win, not to seek proper justice and should be removed from that position. He should never have brought the case.

It was a justice at it's finest. And innocent person was found not guilty even in the face of the lynch mobs outside the door and the lies and misrepresentations being published in the media and even the President of the United States engaged. The jury came through and proper justice was served. Those calling it a miscarriage of justice fail to realize that justice under the law is for the accused. Read the Constitution and the rights of persons under the law. It is to protect the accused and subject to sanction up to capital punish by the government under the law. Justice occurs in the courtroom where the government has to prove it's case. It was Rittenhouse who received proper justice today.
An MSNBC anchor just a few minutes ago was already asking whether this case could now be tried in federal court. They want this kid found guilty so bad they can taste it...

Amazing, we ALL have a CONSTITUTIONAL right to defend ourselves. A jury just said this was self defense and a LAWFUL use of force. So what would be the lawsuit. I'm read those wanting federal civil rights violations charges and him being arrested. The evidence was quite clear and they jury seems to have taken great strides to go over it completely asking several key questions and coming to their determination.
If I was to exercise my right to peacefully protest the mostly peaceful RIOTERS, but knew there was a high chance of being assaulted or possibly murdered by the extremist leftist mob, YES! you're damn right I'd be carrying an AR-15 for self defense purposes.
