No rape involves people not diets or bank accounts or whatever arbitrary thing people lie about.

Your sex when sexual situations come up is relevant. What you had for dinner last week isn't.

If that's a criteria that is important to you is an incumbent upon you to find out not the person you're having sex with.

They aren't lying about who they are they're lying about what they ate.

No, I was raped because he promised me a diamond necklace. That’s the reason I slept with him. Without that promise, no sex for him. No necklace, it’s rape.

You agree that a man sleeping with a blind woman for 2 years, making her think he's her husband, is committing rape?

    Seriously??

The husband could be off fighting in a war, or in prison, and she might falsely think he has returned.
She is blind and vulnerable. She thinks she is having sex with someone who is not the person having sex with her.

Yes. You should talk to a blind person. Their other senses are greatly enhanced by the loss of site.

Are you not with a steady partner? If you were, you'd know instinctively their smell, their touch, their movements, the way they talk, the way they caress your privates. All of it.

If anyone but my husband comes up behind me and rubs my shoulders, I know it within 5 seconds.

    NOT rape.

How about someone like Helen Keller
    (can't see or hear)

Why should it be her responsibility to have to verify the person having sex with her is truly whom they claim to be?

Especially when intentional elaborate tricks and deception was used, and the woman is vulnerable or rendered vulnerable.

I agree with crank now, you seem to be blaming the victim.

    No that's just being foolish.

If you want to be a prostitute you need to require payment up front.

You can't go to the police if they fail to pay you, because prostitution is typically illegal. You have no right to your payment if the action you are engaging in was unlawful.

You can't sue somebody because they shorted you on the amount of cocaine you are going to buy you can't sue somebody because the car you stole from them broke down on you.

Failure to pay a prostitute doesn't constitute rape

Says the chairman of the bureaucracy that decides what constitutes a rape lie and a rape non-lie.

Her most of all. She never knew site OR sound, so her sense of touch is off the charts high. She knows one person from another, simply by touching the skin.

Should stealthing not be illegal if he does it enough times and continues sleeping with her for 2 years?

Her hands were tied up above her head!
She could not use her hands to feel the other person!
    She had been tricked.

ripping off a prostitute isn't rape.
    see above.

If it's a problem don't be so cheap.

I’ve been raped. This wasn’t it. Nobody enjoys being raped. Men who think so are delusional.

    Rape is about giving consent.

If you consent to sex on the promise of payment you consented. The question is consent not whether or not a prostitute was paid what they felt they were worth.

Which isn't relevant when we are talking about an issue of gender.
Your argument is only that my hypothetical is not very realistic.

I never said people enjoy being raped.

Just that consenting to sex for payment and then getting ripped off doesn't equate to rape. That's prostitution

He told her he wasn't married. She told him if he was married, he couldn't have sex with her.
She told him she wasn't fat. She blindfolded him every time they had sex. He found out she was fat.
He told her he was pro life, but he's pro choice. She refuses to sleep with someone who condones any abortion at all.

The list of reasons people consent to sex are endless.

NONE of them are rape, unless it's actually a rape.

This whole, "I consented to kiss but not to take off my bra," or "I consented for him to take off my bra, but not my panties," "I consented to the panties, but not the petting," etc.

We don't need a department of sexual consent and we shouldn't have to fill out a form. Do your due diligence, or it's on you.

I did think about that. But concealing your gender is far more severe.

    I do understand your argument.

I think if the victim had been blind or something like that, this would have been far more severe.

Some of the blame is on her for falling for this trick, for allowing the perpetrator to convince her not to actually look or feel.

According to your personal preference committee. As a bi sexual person, lying about gender is less relevant than lying about who you are as a person.

She enjoyed it, FFS. She clearly wasn’t grossed out.
