Whatever you do - DON’T try to pull an Aussies leg x no seriously it is a national pastime here How we deal with Goannas "I convinced an American exchange student that we rounded up goannas and walked them to Tasmania."- Posted by Ozhank
What's wrong with you people? We'd never give our Eagles wedgies. You actually identify the breed you're going after and wonder why they're always pissed. You try walking around, let alone flying, with a wedgie.
I've taken a second look and determined Aussies are correct on fearing these angry birds. They've gone soft and don't exactly need birds kicking their asses all the time.
Barry walks into a bar with a newt on his shoulder. The barmaid looks at the creature and asks the man what he calls it. ”Tiny,” answers Barry. “Why's that?” enquires the barmaid. ‘Because he's my newt' concludes Barry.
I hear you there I live in Texas I found water moccasins and copperheads and black widows in my own yard they mostly leave you alone. I haven't seen a magnify in person before they might just not live on this continent I don't know. We have two bird species that are really quite aggressive and I hate them both. Mockingbirds and blue jays. What about that drop bears I heard when they fall out of the tree they don't just eat your face they eat your soul. Is that a dead meme?
Magpies do live on the American continent. The black billed magpie (also known as American magpie) live in the north west USA. They are also found in Asia, Africa and Europe. Most are aggressive when they have young to protect but only the Aussie variety are total psychos that attack people on sight.
I trust you I don't know I was just never seen them they must not live in my area. Perhaps i ve never noticed them. Perhaps the mockingbirds have ran them off because they kill other birds right?
My husband feeds our neighbourhood Maggie’s. Sometimes forty of them! Very noisy and we aren’t able to BBQ on our verandah because of them. They are smart birds and not aggressive toward us. Not loved by all of our neighbours unfortunately. Magpie manure decor is probably a sophisticated taste.
Our magpies just behave like the crows. Searching for beetles in the grass and picking bugs off the sheep. You're supposed to greet it and show respect by lifting your hat if you see a single magpie. Has this superstition travelled to Australia? https://www.rte.ie/brainstorm/2020/...le are told that he,that they saw two magpies.
The fact that this is an official page on the official Australian Museum website says all you need to know about the Aussie sense of humour https://australian.museum/learn/animals/mammals/drop-bear/
