Watch "Gay Drag Queen Exposes The LGBTQ Community For Going After Kids - LewRockwell This person puts things into perspective. I wonder if there are many others like that?
"Going after kids is not legal. Anyone who does it is breaking the law. The answer is simple charge anyone who does it whether they dress as a woman or a Priest or a Pastor. The Act is a crime go after the criminals not a group of people. It is more likely that one of your family members will go after your child than anyone else. Perhaps we should outlaw families.
Certainly not on the anti-drag side. Yes, most of what this person said, sounded reasonable. Some of it, I don't know how he would be able to know and say-- for example, that drag queen story hours, writ large, are all about reading specially picked stories, intended to encourage transgenderism among kids. If that were true, of course that changes everything. But I don't know that this is an objectively accurate assessment, or how that one individual could possibly be keeping tabs, nationally, on all drag queen story hours. More likely, he developed his opinion, after attending only a few of these. It is also unknown, whether most would agree with his storyline synopsis, since many of these storytimes are held in libraries, with parents in attendance. It should seem at least questionable, if the case is as this drag queen presents it, that we do not seem to be hearing more from the average parent who had not been hostile towards crossdressers, from the start. My point though, is that this would be a reasonable sounding caution, to be raised about story hours: the content of the stories; which should be something that adults monitor, regardless of who is reading them. So maybe this is something to be looked at, to get more factual data, such as the presenting of specific titles, which some might consider improper, leading to a public discussion over what is appropriate. But that is not the tenor of the objections I have been hearing from the Right, whose blanket condemnations are every bit as without an informed perspective, as are perhaps some of the blanket endorsements, coming from the Left. I have, in fact, read reports of numerous militant Right wing, pro-Nazi, White Supremacist groups, practicing intimidation tactics, at these readings, and frightening the children, and their mothers, in attendance. One would believe that any decent, reasonable person would denounce this, but we find those on the Right as either silent, or supportive, of these suggestions of violence. So maybe the lesson is that one is more likely to get reasonable consideration, for a reasonable sounding concern; and that emotionally charged hysterics, which seem hyperbolic, will likely be treated as such.
There are many stories about many thiongs in many news outlets. Why don't you support what you say again, just name calling.
