This war will energize the anti-semites. After all, Israel is not allowed to defend against attacks.

Hezbollah and Hamas are cowards. They station their terrorist operations in civilian neighborhoods even in and near schools and hospitals.

Israel is warning the residents and non combatants in these areas to leave immediately as there will be very destructive attacks. These warnings need to be taken seriously. Failure to heed those warnings will not be on Israel.

What are your thoughts on Hamas killing and kidnapping civilian Israeli Jews?

I don't really care too much about your link - I was talking historically. Palestinians probably have a claim to the Gaza strip and a little bit more where the old Philistines were who lived alongside the Israelis and Judahs. But thanks to the Brits that was gone, and completely given over to Israel. I don't know what else to say but that's how it is. However, by that same measure West Bank would be part of Israel.

I recognize that some Israelis are pretty aggressive in encroaching on Palestinian settlements. And they retaliate brutally. I also recognize the Palestinians go for civilians more readily. Although they kill less overall than Israelis kill.

The only solution that I would see as fair historically is to give Gaza strip plus a bit extra to the Palestinians (new country) and absorb West bank into Israel. Of course there are many Palestinians that happily work in Israel already.

The reason these agreements are impossible is because there are too many brain-washed extremist ideologues, both amongst the Palestinians and Israelis to ever agree to compromise.

If you are advocating a one-state solution in Palestine, there are currently around 7 million Jews and an equal number of non-Jews living between the River and the Sea. Any attempt to give non-Jews a vote in such a state would likely resort in a civil war in Israel given the current level of racist feelings on both sides.

They were wandering Nomads. Their traditional area was in the vicinity of Jordan and Lebanon. Other Arabs shunned them. They choose to not live in peace with Israel.

There has never been a nation of Palestine. It’s a region, not a country of kingdom

There are Palestinians in the Israeli parliament. There are Palestinians who are citizens of Israel.

No, I didn't know that-- nor does Google:

    <Google Snip>
Why doesn't Gaza have an airport?

The facility opened on 24 November 1998, and all passenger flights ceased in February 2001, during the Second Intifada. Israel bombed the radar station and control tower on 4 December 2001 and bulldozers cut the runway on 10 January 2002, rendering the airport inoperable.

Is that info out of date? Can you link more recent data?

We can clear this up quickly and very easily. All you need to do is explain what you meant by .....

... and then we'll know. But it won't explain all of the "expecting sincere conversation" from me and " ... factually, to have been: all B.S." That's an issue way out of bounds and a matter for your own conscience.

Historically, the Palestinians have been living there as long as people can guess and that was way before they adopted the Arab culture and Islam. And at a backdrop, lots of Jews immigrated to Israel with no Yiddish sounding last names but names that just say it all where they are from disputing that that they are the "originals" inhabitants. While this entire argument is based that land can be obtained through racial purity from people who ave been living there for 1000's of years. That is some serious racist BS.

While according to the Belfour declaration, it says that it must be clearly understood that the rights of the Arabs may not be compromised. Jews breached that. Your idea that the West Bank just should be handed over is not founded on any kind of right at all. In fact, Palestine got voted into a nation, and all this time East Jerusalem, Gaza, West Bank and Golan have been recognized as being an occupied territory. Subsequently Israeli's may not go colonize it according to the Geneva Conventions. It's not just according to the international law as in Belfour and the GC that it can't be Israeli, but also easier to remove those few Israeli Jews out of the West Bank, Golan and East Jerusalem than have millions of Arabs be ethnically cleansed for the sake to let the Jews have it. Lots of Jews can even simply pack up their backs and buzz off where they came from. Most are 1st generation immigrants, and 2nd generation immigrants can also pretty much get their old nationalities back through their parents.

While indeed. Israel is an apartheid state. It removes Arabs with basically no rights from their houses to give it to Jews who get full rights.
It even goes as far as that when a Jew goes to court with historic documents that they own land from 1964 or later and got evicted, that they get their land back. This doesn't fly for 700.000 Arabs who got ethnically cleansed out of Israel.

HAMAS will never be happy with any solution. Their only goal is to exterminate the Jews.

Yes, Bibi will certainly remain prime minister for now.

This war is very, very bad for Netanyahu. It took him half a day to react to the events on Saturday, and then he didn't really tell anything of substance. He seemed so out of touch with reality, so irrelevant. Nobody trusts him anymore. Thousands Israelis murdered and injured in one day, nearly 200 Israelis, including women and children, taken hostages by terrorists, several villages and towns terrorized by Hamas thugs for more than three days (it isn't over yet), all on Bibi's watch. He's toast.

The Guest’: the Palestinian mastermind behind deadly Israel incursion'

'Mohammed Deif is commander of the military wing of the militant group Hamas, which carried out Saturday’s attack.'

    Oct 9, 2023 – 10.09am

'The voice on the recording was calm and precise as it delivered a message of horror.
“In light of the continuing crimes against our people, in light of the orgy of occupation and its denial of international laws and resolutions, and in light of American and Western support, we’ve decided to put an end to all this,” said the speaker, filmed shrouded in shadows, “so that the enemy understands that he can no longer revel without being held to account.”

    snip

'Hunted by Israel for decades, and almost killed in an air strike 20 years ago that reportedly left him in a wheelchair after losing an arm and a leg, Deif’s ability to outwit Israel’s military while killing soldiers and civilians alike has earned him the reverence of Palestinian militants.
With the Israeli military seemingly caught unawares, Deif has catapulted himself to the highest echelons of the Palestinian leadership, eclipsing his rivals in Fatah, the more moderate faction favoured by the West, and his counterparts in Hamas, considered a terrorist group by the US, EU and Israel.

Something like that, I've lost the link

Sounds like propaganda to me. Flys in the face of my understanding.

I would prefer to do my own research rather than take your word for it.
