Yeah, not really. We hide our atrocities behind the legitimacy of government. For some reason we think if it is government killing people, it is ok. Burning down villages in Vietnam, overthrowing elected government in Iran, Bombing Baghdad to smithereens, killing tons of people with drones, often the wrong people, etc etc etc. Killing is killing. Nothing makes it legitimate.

Indeed but we all know that Islam is chronologically a few centuries behind Christianity so in that sense it is carrying the same tradition as the abrahamic faith. To condemn hamas now you must condemn Europeans colonialism in Africa.

What I don’t get is why people with perfectly good, satisfying lives would leave the US to live in Israel. And why?…-to have an opportunity to cause or be part of some trouble. They call it “supporting my people” to make it sound honorable.

My point is violence in Europe doesn’t justify violence in Arab land. I condemn violence in Europe as much as I condemn violence in Muslim world. If you can condemn violence. Atrocity, oppression in Europe, you should be able to condemn same thing in ME.
