I really don't care who controlled it 3000 years ago and no one alive should either but historians. 1948 is the year one of the biggest political mistakes of the 20th century occurred when the world gave Zionists a state. The 1948 partition represented equality. The Arabs rejected it.

 

The Palestinians would be better off if they had accepted the UN Partition of 1947. The Children of Israel deserve the land of Israel. The Palestinians have had plenty of time to find somewhere else to live in the Arab world, if they can find a country that will accept them. Egypt and Jordan have said they do not want them. The Israelis have made it clear that they do not want them either.

Civilian deaths in Gaza are primarily the responsibility of the surrounding Muslim states that are stopping war refugees from leaving Gaza.

 

I understand that there's no 'perfect' solution out there, but it's ironic that the Western Powers said 'no to annexation and territories', and yet with the UN Partition, we basically did the land gifting anyway, as though we didn't learn from Versallies.

In reality, the UN should have 'granted' the land to neither and left them to settle the land dispute among themselves.

 

Israel controls all of the borders. Israel also has plenty of room to welcome war refugees.

Zionism is fundamentally opposed to equality for anyone but Jews from across the world. Larry David has more rights to living in Israel than anyone in Gaza does.

 

I am in favor of UN decisions that benefit Israel. I am opposed to UN decisions that harm the interests of Israel.
