26 AGs to Biden on Border: 'Get Out of the Way'

“More than two dozen Republican attorneys general sent a stern message to President Joe Biden and his border czar, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, on Monday: If you're not going to enforce the law at the southern border, then "get out of the way so Texas can."

The letter, spearheaded by Iowa AG Brenna Bird and signed by 25 others and the GOP leaders of the Arizona Legislature, followed a similar letter from Republican governors last week showing solidarity for Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who's waging a two-front battle: against Biden in the courtroom, and what Abbott calls an "invasion" of illegals pouring through the border.

Monday's six-page letter also comes after the Biden administration's release Friday that December set a record with more than 302,000 migrant encounters at the southern border, part of a "staggering" and record-setting 371,036 overall encounters nationwide. It also comes as myriad Democrat lawmakers and leaders call on Biden to federalize the Texas National Guard, a move Abbott said Friday would be "boneheaded."……”

The state AG’s are right to send that letter. The same applies to the Arizona state legislature. They along with the GOP governors insist that Biden and Mayorkis enforce existing federal laws on the border or let Texas do it.

 

Way to go. Can’t wait for the convoy to assemble there this weekend. Knowing Biden he’d far prefer striking at his domestic opposition there than at Iran for what they did.

Add all the totals up. Since Biden has been in office the total number of "encounters" is 8,913,064. We've had posters claim that they can't find these statistics. Yet they're easily found on the US Customs and Border Protection website.

Even if we're generous and completely take out 2021 because of "Trump policies" you still have 6,956,545 that are solely attributable to Biden. No other President since at least 2000 has ever had such numbers.

You tell us why they insist on crossing anywhere but official legal points of entry? Probably smuggling sex trafficked kids posed as family members and illegal drugs like fentanyl.

This is the issue though — most of these people are entering through legal ports of entry.

The only branch of government that can change the asylum process is congress as courts have already ruled against Biden.

This idea of canceling help for the border so Biden gets no credit is so totally anti American it's no wonder it comes from Republicans.
