yeah because a lot of people all can't lie at the same time I mean there's no such thing as the Catholic Church. I certainly can find fault with him. I just think he's probably about 50 times better than a piece of **** we got now
That he lacks professionalism is an opinion I don't share. I am not a psychiatrist and I am convinced that Trump is a narcissist. Would you dare to claim otherwise? Because I have hundreds of quotes from Trump in which he demonstrates a narcissistic personality. Dr. Gartner - who probably treats dozens of patients with dementia - says Trump suffers from it at an early stage. LoL Trump is crazy. He's convinced he's God's messenger, the messiah sent to Earth to save the US. Do you really think he would listen to a psychiatrist?
Biden can't remember his own name so that obviously means that Trump has dementia. Another perfect example of why no one should ever believe a liberal.
Both statements are absurdly false. And! We have a trifecta. I'm not sure tRaitor tRump has dementia but his condition in recent appearances sure make it look like he's so Aderall addled that he can barely function. Both tRaitor tRump and President Biden are showing their age but I wouldn't say either has dementia. President Biden seems to be the more physically healthy of the two.
incorrect I presented an argument that was sufficient to counter your denial. You seem to think a lot of people together can't lie about something I'm just pointing out how absurd that is. Yes. You are. You can't even call the opposition by their name you have to do this weird little emotional nickname nonsense much like how a school yard bully refers to his victims. I can call Joe Biden Joe Biden I don't need to incessantly refer to him as a traitor every time I type his name. I'm less biased than you on that fact alone.
As large as the White House staff is, certainly there would be someone blowing the whistle if there was one to be blown; but no one is. It's OK for tRaitor tRump to call anyone he likes a derogatory nickname, but turn-around is not fair play? I see how you are ... politically biased. Good for you, because he's not. No! OK, I'm done ... bye!
See denial. All we have to do is look at Biden and listen to him talk. And all of this staff lose credibility. Trump can't hear you or see your derogatory nicknames. So they don't serve a purpose outside of your feelings. Good for you, because he's not.
disagree he seems to be selling out the US so there can be a constant stream of sex trafficking of minors over the boarder.
Dr. John Gartner needs to have his license to practice psychology revoked. No psychologist can make a diagnosis of anything unless they have had personal and direct examination of the subject. This is a firmly established principle of medical ethics. Since Dr. Gartner did not examine Donald Trump, what was his basis for a diagnosis? Politics. Any medical professionals who approve of Dr. Gartner's pronunciations also need to be reported to their governing boards for serious breaches in ethical judgement. We had a similar group of medical professionals sign off on a letter concerning Trump in 2017 and most of those individuals either already had their licenses revoked or had them revoked as a result of signing a letter similar to this. Allowing this nonsense to go on is a disgrace to the mental health profession. I would hope first year psych students would realize the damage this does to the profession. By the way, I also feel that making a diagnosis of dementia against Joe Biden should also result in a loss of one's license to practice in the mental health field.
Trump just recently confused Obama and Biden again. The miracle drugs are wearing off and he needs a dosage increase. His mental lapses are becoming more frequent. The doctor should not have said what he did, but its out there now. The question now is if Biden mixing up names qualifies as dementia, does the same standard apply to Trump?
You might want to do a rethink. Trump has a personality disorder to begin with. He cognitive ability HAS deterorated. (not that it was all that great to start with). It might be wise to take off those trump colored glasses that create an erroneous status of the person. Mind you .....if folks are so politically oriented and yet have no psychological background it6 is not surprising that they won't see what is happening in front of them. His continuous simple repetitiveness and slogan style of speaking is a clue that something is off. Emotionally , he is far too reactive....(over reactive) and is not able to be truly objective. His projection is part of his paranoia. ) He virtually trusts no one. He has no place in running a nation. He can't even run his businesses in an ethical ,normal, way. Part of his pathology is that he is OBSESSED with POWER and MONEY. The mere fact that he has these obsessions......... should disqualify him from being POTUS. Those obsessions over rule and color his "judgement"
Has NOTHING t do with gaffes or a contest. Everyone has gaffes. Human nature is not perfect. One has to be able to see the actual pathology in Trump. (and this thread is about Trump...) We are addressing the extremes involved in his verbiage ( "thinking"( He is also very "theatrical" ( a superficial showman) which removes credibility from him as he exaggerates everything.
Sorry t o hear that. Those are Challenging issues to deal with. Sounds like she is exhibiting the classic example of projection.......... ( It is everyone else but her). Trump does the same thing. That is a big part of HIS pathology.
The problem is you do not see the significant difference between the two. Narcissism is a behavior. It is like saying someone is a braggart, liar, shallow etc... It is not a medical condition. Dementia although technically not a disease is a medical term referring to some form of cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer. To determine if someone has an medical illness requires more than observation of video. So yes, you can call someone a narcissist just as I can call someone a liar because it is behavioral. Having a disease or illness is not. It requires testing and analysis of results as well as interaction with the patient.
His belief that he is some messiah , makes him delusional. Actually, he has delusions of grandiosity. ( that is why the obsession for power and money )
Behavior ( including verbal behavior) is a good indicator of mental problems. One might not be able t o "diagnose" them, but one can describe them and when they fit into a certain category , one can make certain assumptions. All too often folks rationalize and justify other peoples ( sick) behavior as " that is just him". Or he is a bit extreme" or whatever euphemism they choose to use. The point is that folks SHOULD be able to recognize symptoms as they appear. Trump's symptoms of his personality disorder are there for al to see. His cognitive ability is showing degrees of being compromised. Narcisst is also a description of observable character dysfunction.
The medical condition of dementia is confirmed with an MRI scan. Initially, however, it manifests itself in particular behavior: memory loss, speech difficulties, inability to follow or maintain a conversation, etc.... So I repeat, based on what he observes, Dr. Gartner sees signs of early dementia in Trump. And he loses no professional credibility by saying this.
Sure, I already said observing behavior could be warning signs of problems. I don't have a problem with him having an opinion. I wouldn't even be surprise if Trump is suffering cognitive decline. I expect it in older people. My entire issue was a medical professional made his opinion public without ever examining the patient, seeing any test results, or interacting with the patient. IMO it is highly unprofessional. Even the American Psychiatric Association has a rule against it. "The Goldwater rule is Section 7 in the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) Principles of Medical Ethics,[1] which states that psychiatrists have a responsibility to participate in activities contributing to the improvement of the community and the betterment of public health, and when they are asked to comment on public figures, they refrain from diagnosing, which requires a personal examination and consent.[2] It is named after former US Senator and 1964 Republican presidential nominee Barry Goldwater.[3][4]"
Sure, and the majority of older people have those problems. Whether it is problematic and advanced should be determined by a medical professional who has examined and treating him. Not by someone speculating on a blog using observation from TV. Again I say it is unprofessional. It violates the rules of the APA which I would assume he is a member of. "The Goldwater rule is Section 7 in the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) Principles of Medical Ethics,[1] which states that psychiatrists have a responsibility to participate in activities contributing to the improvement of the community and the betterment of public health, and when they are asked to comment on public figures, they refrain from diagnosing, which requires a personal examination and consent.[2] It is named after former US Senator and 1964 Republican presidential nominee Barry Goldwater.[3][4]"
disagree he seems to be selling out the US so there can be a constant stream of sex trafficking of minors over the boarder.
And yet Trump can say the most ugly things IN a PUBLIC form , degrading his "enemies" in the most spiteful manner.??? Some hero .. (not) How many lives has he ruined wit his ugly langauge??? and accusations. ( mostly unfounded) He is a sadist to an extreme. Your boy has serious issues and yet you defend him, while attacking other posters who say what they observe . Technically he IS a traitor as he likes Putin and dictatorship regimes better than this nations systems and democracy.
If a professional makes his OPINION public.......so what?? If he is addressing Trump's character issues and mental problems..... maybe more professional people should do the same . People might have a rethink before being so fanatical about him. I use the word fanatical because when folks can't see the trees for the forest in their blind support of a manipulative , destructive individual....... is fanaticism. There is a good alternative to both senior candidates and it is Niki. People can't seem to see that, they just bi&&ch about both being old. (and make comparisons as if it is some kind of contest for who is worse. ......and that is counterproductive.
The so what is he is making a public professional opinion without ever examining the patient AND because he never examined the patient he could be wrong. A medical professional reaches his conclusions based on many things including test and interactions with the patient. No just observation. I would not vote for Trump or Biden in the upcoming election. Age just being one of the reasons. If Nikki were available I would consider it.
