In Gaza the metric is less that 1 : 1 civilians to terrorists. More like one civilian killed per 10 Hamas terrorists killed - 1 : 10.

The typical ratio in other wars has been 4 : 1 or greater. Where is your data that backs up 1000 : 1.

Exactly. Israel has maintained a blockade for decades - a method universally accepted as war, as would be a seige.

The fact that they allow some amount of crossing the blockade does not mean that a blockade isn't a METHOD OF WAR.

When was the blockade imposed? The answer - after Hamas began launching rockets and mortar shells at Israeli civilian neighborhoods in 2007. Was there a blockade imposed immediately after Israel left the Gaza Strip in 2005 - NO.

What we are seeing is a case of Judea dementia, as Finkelstein would put it. The disregard for the total slaughter of women, children and innocent men in Gaza.
