Ive seen this argument but i dont buy it, for 1 thing it was not necassary to institute blanket gun laws simply to prevent black people from owning firearms. The apartheid system which dictated exactly what black people could and couldnt do in the US was still in place well until the 1960's. You cant tell me it was so easy to stop black people from sitting at the front of the bus, shopping from the same stores, going to the same schools and drinking from the same water fountains but they were still able to buy a potentially deadly weapon the fearful white population didnt want them to own without legislation directed at the whole population black or white? does this sound like a logical set of circumstances to you?
