Twenty five years ago the media all across this nation reported time and again that the service industry was our future. Jump ahead to today and SURPRISE manufacturing is leaving America. Ya think!

Manufacturing blows. Working in a manufacturing facility is like being in prison.

I say keep manufacturing out of America.

You divide this country into classes and you call me a nut job?

I think you should take a look at the GDP numbers. 78.6% service industry.

Americans want quantity not quality. Throw it out and buy new is the American way these days.

It wasn’t just manufacturing that made the so called middle class.

So, it would seem that you favor America just 'selling stuff'. Please tell me how that works. All American workers go get a cheap suit and some blue suede shoes and hit the streets with their 'sample bags' going from door to door peddling goods made in other countries to folks that do the same thing to earn their way? Or we all get one of those nifty internet sales website and stay home and wait for those $1,000 a day checks to come in the mail.

It's Liberals that are causing class warfare. Your always complaining about the difference. Now you want to blame it on Republicans?

Right 78.6 service industry. Who is complaining of our losing our Middle Class? Guess why?

No it wasn't just manufacturing that made the Middle Class. But manufacturing made up a hell of a lot of them.

Hell, we have even lost a lot of our service industry to India.

OK first of all I’m a true blue Reagan Republican.

Americans are complaining because of what Americans have done to themselves in manufacturing industry as well as the mortgage industry. Americans are dealing with their own arrogance and inability to lead themselves in hopes of creating a better life. Their fiscal irresponsibility and lack of consequences have put them on a road to nowhere. Americans have lost their sense of independence and look to corrupt politicians to lead them out of the crisis “they” created. Their financial irresponsibility has led to hundreds of thousands of bankruptcies and foreclosures, probably more like millions, which have made it difficult for all living in this country. Americans are currently experiencing a well over do time out.

    Americans,...

    A weird bunch.

It was exactly Reaganomics that chased out the manufacturing industry out of your country. The same happened under Tatcher in the UK.

Jezus! How far are your collective heads up your asses?

One can not "cause" class warfare.

Class warfare is just there because of lack of opportunity and rigged system.

Every fair-minded American should be rallying in the streets to demand simple economic, social and political justice.

This isn't about "party" -- although some useful idiots like to portray it that way. In this case, it is you.

How 'bout we make it easy to import raw materials and hard to import manufactured items so that raw materials are shipped to America and then manufactured into goods by Americans?

It was only a matter of time before some conservative through out that bogus "class warfare" claim. It's not about class warfare. It's about equality.
