Chicago, is a war zone primarily due to it's outright gun ban. The only people now that have guns are the bad guys. There is no denying it now. Ban Gun-Bans!
New group establishing themselves. Old group with new leader establishing himself. There's been worse situations such as this as far gangland warfare in the rust belt urban areas. I think because Obama is from Chicago is the only reason the threads are popping up.
Or, it could be because murder is up 60% from last year. But yes, it's gotta be because of all that unfair negativity directed at Obama.
I give a crap about Obama. I remember reading about a weekend in Chicago once where 150 people were shot through gang violence. Gun laws don't stop gang violence. Only economics stop gang violence. People working are too tired to go out and start (*)(*)(*)(*).
I don't disagree with this. What I took issue with is your claim that the only reason people are discussing the crime in Chicago is because Obama came from there. I would talk about murder increasing in a city by 60% in a year regardless of who came from there.
